Incredible first trip to Maine - Lucia was a wonderful tour guide. She provided such entertaining and helpful commentary. New Hampton, York and Kennebunkport are such gorgeous places. In Kennebunkport, we took a trolley tour around town, driven by our brilliant guide, Ken. He compellingly explained the history of the town and cracked hilarious jokes. It was informative and entertaining. As a first trip to Maine from Boston, I highly recommend this.

Trip with family - We were on holiday in Boston and took the day trip with my mum(75 yrs) and my aunt and they found the trip to be quite relaxed and not at all tiring . The guide/ driver did a good job (sorry I don’t remember his name). We also did the trolley tour in kennybunkport which was very picturesque. The trolley giode was a huge fan of George Bush Sr. and told us a lot about the bush family . I recommend this trip.

Loved the coast and Kennebunkport with Ed!!! - Loved seeing the coast from Boston through New Hampshire and into Maine. Kennebunkport is a very charming city. Loved lunch at the Boat House and the trolley tour with Ed. Ed is remarkable. What’s with the 100 character minimum which is usually too much. Won’t do that again!!!!!!!’n

Boston to Maine day trip. - Excellent tour of Kennebunkport Maine and the road to get there. I highly recommend Lucia as your tour guide. We toured twice with her and she was so knowledgeable and considerate about our time and gave us enough breaks along the route. Ask for Lucia on your next tour

Good but too much time in Kennebunkport - Our driver was Lucia, she was very punctual and was at our stop 7:15 on the clock. Her van is pristine, the drive to Maine is long but is well planned with a few stops along the way. Only con I see is there is no coffee or breakfast stop early in the trip and most people didn’t have coffee or anything to eat until around 3 hrs after. We luckily already had coffee and a pastry at Starbucks before hoping on the van. I recommend they add a stop at a McDonalds like the tour with took to Marta’s Vineyard the previous day. Another con is Lucia was funny but none of her jokes landed, people were still asleep without coffee. The views of the towns at our trip were amazing. Absolutely stunning. We did a quick stop at beautiful lighthouse, then a lobster town, delicious lobster rolls. We only had one hour there and my daughter and I did some shopping and ate, time was not enough to see everything and Lucia had to call us 1 minute before, we ran to the van and made it 2 minutes after the time she said, she embarrassed us in front of the whole bus, honestly I was considering taking an Uber back to Boston. I’m glad I didn’t because the rest of the trip was very good. Windy road of beautiful properties in the coast, we got to Kennebunkport with plenty of time. This is why I’m taking one star from my rating because we got there at 11:45 and she said to be back in the bus 3:45. So we had 4 hours to explore the tiny town. It’s only like 2 blocks, a couple of restaurants, we did have the trolley that was one hour long but really how much can you do in 3 more hours? It was a lot of lost time. Now the trolley ride was spectacular! Our driver Ed was funny, acknowledged, smart. We loved all his stories and jokes. He was amazing. That was the best part of the whole trip. Overall very recommended tour. I wish our driver Lucia was more open to other races because we could feel her treatment for us very different to the white folks on the trip. Thank you New England tours for our 2 trips while in Boston. You guys are the best.

The Maine Event - I enjoyed this day trip to Maine. The highlight for me was the scenic walk along Marginal Way. Unfortunately, time was limited and there wasn't enough time to complete the walk and return to the bus before departure time so an additional 1/2 hour would have been great. I was also looking forward to an optional excursion aboard a lobster boat. The website did say it depended on time and availability but when we boarded our tour bus it was never even mentioned as a possible option. It was disappointing...if New England Trips has discontinued this optional tour entirely they should revise their website and remove any mention of it being a "possible excursion".

Avoid this company - Extremely rude staff and they got lost while driving. The area itself is beautiful but I don’t recommend the company offering the tour
