Chobe disaster - This was the worst ever tour. OBrian Tours was the operator but he only provided transfers to & from the border. Obrien changed our pickup time from 6:30 to 7 and then shortly before the 7am pickup, he changed it to 7:30.The safari was done by another company who did not provide all the activities promised. We booked a private tour but this was not private. Sam, the owner of that company kept asking for more money saying Obrian hadn't paid him for a private tour and other activities. We never got breakfast & had to fight for lunch at a riverside lodge instead of a fast food joint in a strip shopping center where Sam tried to dump us. However the other people on the same safari vehicle were taken to the riverside lodge. The river safari didn't happen because Sam's people did not get us to it on time and it left. Sam then asked for money for another boat that hadn't left yet. I refused and Sam said he was "washing" his hands of us. Finally he said he would arrange another boat. They then took us to another location about 20 minutes away. It was in the midst of a construction site and involved walking up and down a steep muddy rocky hill to access a small boat which was already full of people. The driver of the boat walked up the hill to us and said he didn't think we'd be able to make it down the muddy hill to the muddy embankment. He appeared to be drunk or on drugs. We refused to continue. We asked to be driven back to the border. Obrian took no responsibility for what happened. Sam kept saying he had no responsibility as he was only a subcontractor. And when I had spoke with Sam and complained about how were were being treated, he basically threatened to leave us stranded in Botswana . I asked Obrian for a refund and he said he had no money to give us a refund. This was a disgrace.
