Worth it for real - As soon as my wife visited me in Portugal we decided to do something different. This place os just amazing. You feel like absorbed by nature. Took a while from the city of Braga to get there but completely worth it.

Don’t miss out, Gerês Wild & Free Tours are the best! - We spent an incredible day with Rui! Our expectations were exceeded beyond words. Our full day tour started with a hotel pickup at 10am sharp. Rui knows the area so well and shares his knowledge using multiple languages as needed. Waterfalls, rivers/streams, swimming holes, and short hikes…what a day! Plus a great lunch at an authentic Portuguese restaurant in one of the Parque’s many small villages. We concluded our time with a nice picnic in the woods! Rui and Gerês Wild & Free Tours will always be our #1 choice of guides in the area!

Do it! Walk and bathe you will be so pleased you did. - The whole family had a fantastic day. Best day of whole week’s holiday. Swimming in the pools below the water falls was the most amazing experience and you came out feeling completely refreshed physically and mentally. Make sure you go in to the clear water and if you have goggles then the rocks and little fish’s can be inspected even better. The lunch was full of wonderful local produce and wine. Our host took us off the beaten track so we avoided the busiest spots. Thank you to Rui and his lovely Landrover.

Excellent Gerês Waterfalls Experience - Excellent day spent with Nelson We appreciated the kindness of the guide who showed us the emblematic waterfalls and other more secret waterfalls for swimming in a more intimate setting. Beautiful viewpoints for photos and a quality local meal.

Must do in Gerês - Rui is amazing! The tour is fantastic, very relaxed, beautiful scenary. It's a must to do! The food was also amazing.

A fantastiv day for our kids and us - We (2 families, 8 people in total) had a fantastic day today with Nelson and Rui. With the off-road vehicle we went off into the national park. Despite the day's slightly foggy weather, we were at many great locations and could go swimming extensively in between. The water at the 3 waterfalls was fantastic. At one waterfall we even had the whole area to ourselves, an insider tip from our guides. Also our children (8-12 years old) had extremely much fun. The hiking trails are easy to handle, but you should at least have sneakers with you. The restaurant for lunch served delicious grilled chicken and great local specialties. It was an all-around successful trip that we can definitely recommend.
