BEST CHRISTMAS EXPERIENCE THIS HOLIDAY SEASON! - WHAT A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!!! --- Best SANTA EVER!!! He took time to talk to every child after the "traditional" Santa Lap photos were taken. Joked with them -- even reminded them what CHRISTMAS is REALLY about! Seeing reindeer up-close was exciting for the kids ---- Excellent choice for our family..... Was not packed, so you could enjoy your time there. The attendants working the rope course were very nice to our children ( ages 8 and 4) and helped them/kept them calm, so they could experience climbing and zipping around the course! As a LOCAL - I will highly recommend this to people next year during the holidays, and we can't wait to come back when it is warmer to do more climbing!

Amazing Santa, great display and beautiful photos!! - This was our daughter’s first Santa experience since she was basically a newborn last Christmas. The Santa at The Northpole Adventure was MAGICAL!!! I could not have asked for a better Kris Kringle. The suit was divine, his beard had glitter, he smelled like cotton candy, he wore a face shield for safety and most importantly, he was wonderful with our girl. She was smiling ear to ear and hasn’t stopped saying “Santa Ho Ho Ho” since Saturday night! Haha There was a line, but that is to be expected at any popular place on a Saturday. Worth the wait and the photos we got were the cherry on top! The display was GORGEOUS!! Our photo will be going onto an ornament for our tree and we will definitely come back to see our favorite Santa next year!!

Christmas Fun in the Ozarks - This is a fun time at a decent price. It feels very festive and there are a lot of different activities. Everything is extra though. As an example, getting to see Santa is an additional fee and the wait times were very long when we were there. We even waited for a time when fewer people were there. I would also note that the parking is a bit odd since the location is in the hills. That said, it is something we would definitely do again. The play area is great for small children. So, next time we would go a little earlier to do that and then be there when all of the Christmas lights come on for the other activities.

Pumpkin Patch meets Christmas - This was an enjoyable afternoon and evening activity. We got there right when they opened. No line to get in which was nice. Lots of different photo op places which are nicely done. Saw a reindeer. Didn't see Santa, but there was no line for him and the one little boy who had just come out from seeing him was over the moon elated!! Could tell his Dad enough about him! Petting zoo is more like looking at goats. We couldn't go inside. The obstacle course, tree house maze, and mini golf were all fun and well kept. The hay rack ride is nice and will take you up to the top of the hill (inspiration tower). The chapel was beautiful and well maintained. Small food and drink items available. We also ate on site at the Shepherd Mill Restaurant which was delicious. Separate Review. I would call this a smaller attraction, more like a small pumpkin patch environment. They are doing great and hope they keep adding more and more to it to make it even bigger!!

North Pole Adventure terrible greeting - Our first time to Branson for a family vacation…this was our very first event and boy, did we get greeted with a scowl and no actual greeting at all when we arrived at the “pre-paid” ticket booth. The older lady behind the glass clearly didn’t want to be there and made us feel as if we were not only bothering her, but almost annoyed that she had to help a customer. My kids were oblivious to this of course since they were excited about the experience. But I had a hard time enjoying the event after that. We went after dark so it was hard to get the full experience of what was available. However the lighted paths and church were really pretty. We played mini golf which was hilarious to do at night, but the kids laughed and had a good time. The play area reminded me of our local pumpkin patch type play equipment…very creatively built structures and the kids spent most of their time there. Seeing the real reindeer was magical and so interesting. The Santa’s Workshop was warm and beautifully decorated, however we couldn’t justify the $30 pic with Santa when there are plenty of other free picture opportunities. It was a long walk back the way we came and it was very cold, but I would say worth the sale price we paid at $7.95 each, but probably not worth more than that.

Vacay 2021 - The only really things we liked was the Santa visit and mountain coaster. First off they truly overcharge you and there’s not alotta lights to see. The play areas are really run down and need immediate attention! We had a group of 13 ppl and we were all disappointed that they have a very small area roped off for the lights and things to do. I would never do this again or recommend it. I was expecting something way more than they had. They advertise this as a big North Pole adventure. It’s definitely not!! Even the kids were disappointed and ready to leave after 30 mins of being there.

Not for older kids - They need to have at least one worker minding the petting zoo. The goat feeding machine was broken and coins got stuck in the turn feeder. It's also for the safety of the animals and children. Overall it was okay especially for families with little ones. The free hot cocoa was a nice treat, too bad the worker wouldn't crack a smile.

Overpriced and poor customer service - The tickets are overpriced for what you can do. Additionally, they did not allow separate purchase of a child’s ropes course without paying $40 per adult to watch. Upon being pushed about the false advertising, the manager said to come back on Monday and our 3 year old could do the ropes course. When we came back, the same manager said “my bad” and said the ropes course was closed during the week. If you have a three year old that has been told twice in two days that the people would not allow him to walk on the parent supervised ropes course, you understand the lack of apprecyfor the management of Shepherd of the Hills

Santa was terrible - I hate leaving negative things... but we were having a great time, my youngest boy who turned 5 (the reason we went) loves Christmas and Santa more than anything. The Santa was terrible. My son was so excited to talk to him and ask him for a present he made my son open an empty box and went on and on to my 5 year old about how he needs to be patient because when he isn’t he gets empty boxes. He was rude and ruined my sons whole night. He was almost in tears by the time we left. The worst experience we have ever had with a Santa.
