What a fun day! - Fun day exploring outside of Victoria proper. Colleen our tour guide was excellent, very knowledgeable and personable. We went to three wine tastings, at three wineries and had a nice picnic lunch at one. Colleen also took us to two funky places….one to taste cheese and another to sample berry hand pies. We learned about the history of Vancouver Island, the native peoples. Saw beautiful scenery plus donkeys, turkeys and what a fun day!baby owls.! Highly recommend!

Best way to see the wine country. - Colleen made the day so special. Her knowledge of the land’s geography and history helped make this a unique experience. Marilyn at Venturi Schulze was delightful, and their farm has created the most flavorful wines and balsamic we’ve ever tasted! We loved the quick visits to Cowichan Station Creamery, the lunch and wine tasting, and the delicious tarts and recipes at South Island Saskatoon Pies! Thanks for a wonderful day, Colleen.

An absolute delight! - This was an amazing trip and worth every penny. Our tour guide talked to us the whole time and told us such interesting things. From pulling over for a view, to 2 craft wineries and a large winery, this was a blast. The wine makers were so fun to listen to and winery extras like balsamic vinegar were fun. The cheese was to die for and even included a qr code where you could meet the cows that contributed. Lunch was fantastic and every venue was a blast. If I go back to the area, I would take the tour again and I would recommend the tour to anyone visiting the area.

Wine definitely a a great experience! - The tour was definitely worth the price of admission! Colleen our guide was very informative on the trip to and from the different wineries supplying us with relevant background information about the area, the different wines we would be trying, and the people we would be interacting with. The provided lunch was also very good. The tour was very well paced and on time with stops appropriately spaced. We were picked up on time and we returned at the time we expected to.

We learned about the city, saw some great views along the way and had good wine at each stop. We enjoyed the tasty lunch and appreciate it's inclusion as part of the day. The yummy treat at the Saskatoon berry farm put a flourish at the end of the day.

Great tour! - The tour was great, I only wish you had given the driver the correct place to pick us up. It made it very confusing for us and the driver.

Beautiful day in the Cowichan Valley, Thank you Colleen - We celebrated St. Patricks's Day in wine country. There was a little confusion about the tour because my friend booked it ahead of our visit through Chase travel, a third party. I recommend booking via Viator, not a third party. The owner, Colleen, was our guide. She was great and provided a lot of interesting information during our drive to the valley. There were only 3 of us, we paid for a 4th person since the tour has a min of 4 pp, and no one had else signed up that day. We stopped at 3 wineries, a cheese farm, and a berry farm for a sweet treat. Overall, we had an amazing day. We had exceptional weather during our March visit. Side note: We did high tea at the Butchart Gardens a day before, and added a local wine paring to our tea. Little did we know, we'd be visiting 2 of the wineries (Unsworth and Rocky Creek) on during our wine tour. 1st stop: Unsworth Vineyards, we tasted 5 wine. Our tasting was with Draysen. He was awesome, super friendly, inviting and knowledgeable. I would definitely go back if I lived in Victoria. It's a lovely winery. 2nd stop: Cowichan Station Creamery with about 10 different cheese samples. We bought some cheese to take home. It wasn't a problem taking it in our carry-on back to the USA. 3rd stop: Blue Grouse Estate Winery and Vineyard. We ate our delicious picnic lunch while tasting 5 wines. Beautiful winery, friendly staff and good wines. 4th stop: Rocky Creek Winery. Tasting was conducted by the owner and we had 5 wines. Small and cozy tasting room. Their Wow Wild Blackberry is unique. 5th stop: South Island Saskatoons berry farm. The owners were so nice and welcoming. We had a yummy Saskatoon baked good and bought some Saskatoon Berry scones.
