Our tour begins in the Williamsburg neighborhood at Doughnut Plant, one of the best donut shops in Brooklyn. Here we’ll try some of their amazing donuts, featured above. After that, we’ll take a leisurely walk through McCarren Park. We’ll then continue our way to some more amazing donut shops in Greenpoint. We’ll end our tour at one of the oldest and best donut shops in Brooklyn. At each location, we’ll sample several different types, flavors and styles of donuts, so come hungry! Just an FYI - the tour does not begin and end at the same location, but public transit is plentiful.

Great way to learn about Brooklyn! - Tariq was thoughtful and attentive to adapting the pace of the tour to accommodate my 6 yo. He provided interesting insider information on Brooklyn and Manhattan. He also made me want to return to Brooklyn and Queens to check out the food. I would book again.

Great donuts of Williamsburg! - Rob took us to four donut shops. Of the four, at three, the donuts he recommended were amazing (at the fourth, it was "only" very good). He also gave us a nice overview of the history of the area (Williamsburg), as well as the stories of the donut shop owners. The transactions at each spot were very efficient. Rob also had the experience to give us tangential NYC history that was very interesting. I felt the tour was worthwhile - I learned some interesting history, and I ate amazing donuts that I would not have picked out myself - so I consider this tour very "value add"

Great donut experience in Brooklyn - Generous offering of donuts and drinks at really good donut shops with wide assortments. Our guide Tariq was also really friendly and knowledgeable on everything from donuts to NY history and local tips. Highly recommend this tour for any donut fans visiting New York!

Best Tour Ever! - The NYC Underground Doughnut Tour was incredible! Not only did we get to visit FOUR bakeries we would never have otherwise known about, but our guide, Rob, had an incredible knowledge of the area and its history. Listening to Rob was like listening to a storyteller walk you through the evolution of the culture of midtown. I left with a new appreciation of why the sites we visited are so important, as well as a belly full of delicious doughnuts

Fun way to spend time in Brooklyn - The tour was great! Our tour guide gave us background on the neighborhoods as we walked from location to location. He was also very knowledgeable about the sweet treats and gave suggestions. He also shared the most popular donut at each location. I would gladly book this tour again!
