- Minnewater Lake - The romantic bridge par excellence is the Minnewater Bridge. Rain, sun, mist or snow, love always reigns supreme here
- Wijngaardplein - The romantic charm of the Wijngaardplein is simply irresistible to passers-by, but take your time here - there is a lot to see! The Beguinage’s main gate is sure to grab your attention, but don’t miss the Sashuis. This picturesque building regulated water-flow in the city centre and it is because of this that the Lake of love exists.
- Walplein - The name of this small cobbled square possibly refers to the first city walls, built nearby in 1127-1128. Aside from the selection of lively cafe terraces beneath the trees, Jef Claerhout also pays tribute to the city’s coachmen through his sculpture ‘Zeus, Leda, Prometheus and Pegasus visit Bruges’.
- Cathedrale Saint Sauveur de Bruges - Bruges’ oldest parish church (12th–15th century) has amongst its treasures a rood loft with an organ, medieval tombs, Brussels tapestries and a rich collection of Flemish paintings (14th-18th century). The treasure-chamber displays, amongst others, paintings by Dieric Bouts, Hugo van der Goes and other Flemish primitives.
- Square and Statue of Simon Stevin - The mathematician and physicist Simon Stevin (born in Bruges in 1548, died in The Hague in 1620), after whom the square is named, stands proud on this lively square, which is framed by neat rows of linden trees.
- Stadhuis - The monumental City Hall (1376-1421) is one of the oldest in the Low Countries. It is from here that the city has been governed for more than 600 years. An absolute masterpiece is the Gothic Hall, with its impressive vault and 20th century murals depicting the history of Bruges.
- The Markt - The beating heart of Bruges has long been dominated by the Belfry, 83 meters high and the city’s most prominent building. Those who climb to the top of the Belfry are rewarded with a breath-taking panorama. In the Market Square itself you can marvel at the imposing Provincial Court and the many colorful stepped gables. Maybe you’ll hop in for a carriage ride!

Original way to settle Bruges - The city escape game in Bruges offered a perfect mix of history and humor. The puzzles were challenging but achievable, and the addition of historical facts made the experience engaging. Moreover, the many terraces were perfect for taking a break and enjoying a drink. An unforgettable way to explore the city!

Ideal for a short and alternative city trip - A great way to discover a city in one day! You get to learn and see the city in a really different perspective. Definitely a must do, even for a city you know a bit from already!

Great view of the city while solving various puzzles - After doing several escapes in the Netherlands we decided to take a trip to Belgium. The escape tours are a great way to see the highlights of the city. You need te be on a lookout for photo’s and solve puzzles while on the go witch make you see much more details of the city! It’s not time constraint so you can still have lunch or a nice beer and later resume the quest. Highly recommended!
