Excellent tour with Paolo. - Our group was split up into Spanish speakers and English speakers which worked out well as we only had about 12 people in our group of English speakers. Paolo was excellent and energetic. He has two masters in history and is working on his PhD and the excitement and depth of knowledge and interaction with the group was outstanding.

Wonderful tour and a great way to see and learn about Bruges - I loved this day trip. The pick up and drop off in Brussels was easy and convenient and the bus ride was comfortable. The only downside was sharing it with a Spanish group going to Bruges and Ghent, so the commentary had to be done in both Spanish and English and it felt like the Spanish got more info. On the plus side, the English group was only 12 people so it was easy to stay near the tour guide in the city and hear everything he had to say. So, speaking of Jorge (I hope I remembered his name correctly!), he was excellent. Very personable and knowledgeable. You could tell he enjoyed being a tour guide. He did a wonderful job keeping the group together and telling stories. It was an excellent introduction to the city. The tour was about 2 hours long and then we were on our own. Thanks to his advice, we skipped the carriage ride (overly priced and you see the same roads you saw on the walking tour) and took a boat tour (a different way to see the city and well worth it). We had lunch in a restaurant he recommended and it was excellent (also conveniently located across the street from the boat dock). We went on a Saturday in June with half-decent weather, so the place was very crowded and 'touristy', but you can still appreciate the history, architecture, chocolate, waffles and beer. Speaking of the waffles, when you make the bathroom stop before entering the town, make sure to get a waffle at the little kiosk. It was the best one I had my entire time in Belgium. Delicious!

Bruges isn't for the handycap - Getting a really good Belter waffle and Belgium chocolate. Guide was good but all the speakers in earphones he gave us did not work. I know it wasn't his fault. Also I was disappointed that I couldn't see the whole tour because the cobblestone was so Rocky that I could not walk through it with my handicap foot. (They should really put that on the app that it is Rocky cobblestone and not smooth cobblestone.) I just sent my son to go to the tour himself without me.BUMMER! I stayed back and ate waffles and chocolate as a treat because I couldn't walk on the tour.

Day trip to Bruges - Overall tour was pretty poorly organized compared to many others I've seen over the years in different countries. About an hour of our time was lost due to the police stop, because apparently driver didn't have his employment papers in proper order. The walking part of it was ok, but in general calling it an english speaking tour was a bit of an exaggeration.. at the best, this was the spanish speaking tour where some of the info was repeated in english as well. Hopefully company will be able to improve it in the future.

Bruges was Beautiful. Tour operator wants more money - The city of Bruges was exquisite. Beautiful beyond words. Tour operator makes you buy earphones for tour. A requirement I was told. Upon arrival bathrooms are crowded and of course cost money. Felt your operator was just trying to make more money off of you
