- Palace of Parliament - The construction of the Palace of the Parliament was the most extreme manifestation of Nicolae Ceaușescu’s systematization program in Romania. This urban planning initiative was inspired by Ceaușescu’s admiration for North Korea’s Juche ideology, which he observed during his visit to East Asia in 1971. He aimed to transform Romania into a “multilaterally developed socialist society” through similar policies.
- Muzeul National al Satului “Dimitrie Gusti” - The National Museum of the Village “Dimitrie Gusti” was officially named by the Romanian Government’s Decision no. 742/2003, art. 18 lit. This institution, originally called the Village Museum, was the brainchild of folklorist and sociologist Dimitrie Gusti. It was inaugurated on May 10, 1936, in the presence of King Carol II of Romania, and opened to the public on May 17, 1936. Today, it stands as one of Bucharest’s major tourist attractions.
- Piaka Revolukiei - Revolution Square (Romanian: Piața Revoluției) is situated in central Bucharest on Calea Victoriei. Formerly known as Piața Palatului (Palace Square) until 1989, it was renamed following the Romanian Revolution of December 1989. The square is home to several significant landmarks, including the former Royal Palace (now the National Museum of Art of Romania), the Athenaeum, the Athénée Palace Hotel, the University of Bucharest Library, and the Memorial of Rebirth. It also houses the building of the former Central Committee of the Romanian Communist Party, from which Nicolae Ceaușescu and his wife fled by helicopter on December 22, 1989. In 1990, this building became the seat of the Senate, and since 2006, it has been the headquarters of the Ministry of Interior and Administrative Reform.

He made our tour an experience! - On our last full day in Bucharest, Jony picked us up for our tour and was very friendly. I let him know right away that I was not feeling 100% and we may need to modify our tour to accommodate that and he was wonderful and knew just the things to do.
He also went above and beyond and took me to a pharmacy.
He translated my issue to the pharmacist who was able to give me the proper medication. He even got us a small souvenir at the last place we went.
It is tour guides like Jony that actually make a tour an experience. We were so happy with him!!

Great Tour of Bucharest - We enjoyed our tour very much. The tour Guide Ionut(Johnny) was amazing and helped me navigate a quick stop to the pharmacy as well. He was very well informed and a great companion!
