You’re scheduled to rendezvous with your guide at our headquarters, and from there, you’ll embark on a voyage through Romania’s communist history. We will escort you into the palace, take care of ticket arrangements and introduce you to the guide. After spending over an hour exploring one of Europe’s most magnificent structures, your perspective on this incredible, yet not entirely uncovered, slice of the ancient continent will undeniably be transformed.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Dress code : wear something comfortable
- A maximum of 15 people per booking
- Tour is indoors so rain or shine is ON
- To access the venue everybody has to carry and official valid ID card (EU members ) or passport for security check. Driver’s license is NOT accepted , basically the same documents accepted at the airports. . Any person without document will have the tour cancelled automatically without the right of refund.
- Please arrive at the meeting point at least 30 minutes before the tour starts, we will need a bit of time to check you in , verify the ids/passports .
- Not accessible for people in the wheelchair
- Not accessible for people with walking impediments
- Not accessible for people with serious health problems.

Packed but worth it! - Excellently organized by a knowledgeable and jovial host. It's a packed day, visiting three fascinating and beautiful places. I'd like to spend more time in Brașov, but I'd probably never have discovered what a charming city it is if this tour hadn't stopped there. Well recommended!

Super good - Superb service - from check-in at the external office to the end of the tour (with guide).
But expect approx. one hour more than what is stated in the booking dokumentation.

Beautiful - Because of this tour, I met a new friend. The inside of this building was humongous, and it was so beautiful inside I do appreciate the tour guides for their hard work and their patience with us.

Q parliament building in Bucharest - Great organisation by Transylvania company

Colossal building - This is one of the must-see places if you are going to Bucharest.
It is certainly an impressive building, the second largest on the planet, behind only the US Pentagon.
It is the end of the beautiful and long walk along Unirii Boulevard, and as you get closer you are aware of the vastness of the building, which seems to be guarded around the Ministries, also magnificent buildings.
In our case we could not see it inside, but just the print of the building is worth the visit.

Excessive Palace - The guide was excellent in a difficult situation. The Parliament Palace is overwhelming, in an absurdist way.

Lawrence saved the day, much better to book direct with the palace FYI - very odd to have booked tickets through viator and then to be accosted by my personal whatsapp by multiple travel agents with "instructions" that are not present on the booking page or confirmation email. Turned out we were expected to be at an undisclosed meeting point 1 hour before the tour, and you need your passport to enter. This information needs to be on the Viator confirmation, we were on time for our 11am slot but were told we were late, we were told off by one of the agents...We managed to be put on the 11.15 tour which didn't actually start for another 20mins.
Going through the palace, it is vast and impressive, the guide, Lawrence, really did a fantastic job, very good English and excellent knowledge, even threw in a couple of jokes.

Super smooth way inside the Parliamental Palace - Great, direct and informative. Got us into security and then passed us onto a tour guide there. She did her job well.

Too much wasted time - Nothing was memorable because it all took too much time. It took over two hours for what was a 30 mins tops experience.
