Must do while in Bucharest - While visiting Bucharest with friends we booked The Red Patrol for one early afternoon. It was probably one of the best experiences we had in the city . Not only that we learned so much of the cars, thanks to the vivid passion of Serban about Dacia cars but the city unfolded to us, places and real life stories some of it long forgotten were brought back to life by our guide Cătălin . Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bucharest, especially if you have a short stay you will get to see the entire city and listen to it history !

Driving a classic car in Bucharest - It was a thrill to drive the old manual transmission car through the streets of Bucharest. In the rear view mirror was the arc de triomphe! Great history lesson with a passionate and accommodating guide. This was a fun tour.

Fantastic tour - a great guide, fascinating sights and you drive a fun car! - Very interesting sights accompanied by the brilliant commentary and ‘story telling’ of Serban plus the added bonus of driving a 1977 Dacia 1300. A fantastic afternoon and terrific value. 100% recommended.

An excellent combination; driving a great classic car, seeing the principal sights and Serban’s fascinating commentary! - A great afternoon in the company of Serban. He brings the history and present day of Bucharest to life through his fascinating commentary and story telling; all ‘on location’ of the main events in Romania’s history. Driving the rather wonderful Dacia 1300 was a huge added bonus. I can’t recommend this tour too highly - it is quite brilliant and great value.

Fantastic tour! - We did this tour with five friends in two old Dacias. There is only one word for this tour: fantastic! The communication in advance was very pleasant with Serban. He picked us up at the hotel (the street was not accessible by car) and then we walked to the two Dacias parked nearby. Both cars were driven by a guide (Serben and Dan) due to the traffic on the road. We drove around Bucharest for 3 hours and stopped at many beautiful and historical places. During the entire tour we received a lot of information about all the sights and we also heard special and 'funny' stories about history and especially the communist period under Ceausescu. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bucharest! Thank you Serban and Dan for this fun and interesting experience!!

Communism tour whilst driving an old Dacia Car - Serban is a fantastic guide and very passionate which is great to see. Definitely make sure you have a go at driving one of the cars, just make sure you start breaking before you think you need to! Thank you to the other guides that came along in the cars with us and put up with my erratic driving! If you like Communism history and prefer to drive around rather than walk, then its for you.
