A stunning architectural marvel - The architecture is stunning. It is done in a neo-Moorish style and reminds me of something you would find in the Middle East. The interior is stunning! So many lights in the dark-wood interior. . There is a Tree of Life in the courtyard as well as homages to non-Jews who helped Jews escape. 600,000 Hungarian Jews perished during the Shoah.

Beautiful but dear - Intense and exciting tour with Italian guide (available in various languages). The guide tells the whole story of the Jewish ghetto and the persecution of Jews during World War II. The visit includes a small museum, the memorial, another small synagogue and the inner cemetery. A visit not to be missed but at an excessive cost.....27/28€, depending on the exchange rate, are really too many even by the rather expensive standard of Budapest.

It's an experience no one should ever have to go through. - The ticket is about 28 euros per person, including the church and the museum. This is the most expensive ticket I have ever bought, and I tell you, it is not worth it at all. If I knew what was inside, I would not have come even if it was free. Let's talk about the church first. According to the standards of free admission churches, this church is just okay. And they require all men to wear a small hat. Out of respect for their religion, I can accept it, but I saw some staff inside did not wear it. So basically they ask tourists to respect their religious beliefs, but they don't need to. Let's talk about the museum. This is the smallest museum I have ever seen. It is more like two small exhibition halls than a museum. There are only more than 300 things in it, and there is really nothing. You can basically finish it in 5 minutes. In short, I hope those who want to go will think twice.
