Catttttttt - Very nice place, cared for in every part, clean and welcoming. It's the cat house! Some cuddly and sociable, others less so. The downside in my opinion, maybe the entrance should be fewer people at a time, there were too many of us. Bought many special gadgets!

Madly in love. Highly recommended. - If Budapest is among your future destinations and you love cats this is a must-see. The cost is illusory, cats are well kept and cared for. The place has a family atmosphere and super cozy, even the lady who greeted us was of incredible kindness. An hour and a half with these cats was the best experience ever!

A Welcome reprieve from the hot weather - I loved this place. The kitties are all friendly. It was cool ( temperature) inside and a welcome reprieve from the extreme hot weather and appreciated the complimentary cup of coffee. Worth a visit if you like cats!

Great experience for cat enthusiasts - We were admitted on time and informed about the rules of conduct. You can move freely around the museum and learn all kinds of information about cats, at the end you can take a quiz and win goodies. The cats move through the different rooms in a completely relaxed atmosphere and are open to extensive petting sessions. Because the water dispenser was out of operation, we were invited by the team for a cold drink, which we found super solution-oriented and very nice. A great trip!

Amazing place - I am a devoted cat lover, currently living in Italy. Although I'm Brazilian at heart, my career brought me to this beautiful country. Sadly, this move meant leaving my two beloved cats with my parents, which I miss dearly every day. When I stumbled upon the existence of the Cat Museum in Budapest, I felt an instant surge of excitement. Without hesitation, I booked a flight to experience it firsthand. Visiting the museum was an incredible way to bridge the gap and feel closer to my furry friends. The museum itself is a gem. The ambiance is delightful, with perfect, cozy decor and an atmosphere brimming with positive energy. The resident cats are not only stunning but also incredibly gentle and affectionate. I was enchanted by the entire experience. For all fellow cat enthusiasts out there, this place is an absolute must-visit! I loved every moment and am already dreaming of the day I can return.

A very cute, quaint and relaxing activity - Very cute little museum with plenty of friendly kitties, many of which were willing to play with us and allow us to stroke them and sit with them Staff were really friendly and helpful, and there was lots of information on the history of cats. All material was available in English as well as Hungarian There were loads of places to just sit and relax which was much needed from all the walking we did around Budapest in the heat! Cute selection of merchandise available which was decently priced We were given a free hot drink at the end of the session as well which was a nice added bonus

Disappointing - Very small. cramped low ceiling space. Cats are certainly not interested in company, plenty of them and well kept. Minimal display or merchandise.

For cat lovers to just photograph - I booked through getyourguide, arrived at the museum we wait our turn and enter, they were not our tickets that I had also saved in pdf to have the code scanned. Vabe the lady beckons us in like she's doing us a favor. Nice idea and the pieces they have, really nice and interactive, there is a but. An air conditioner for three really low and full floors is a bit small. The cats clearly suffered from the heat and were helpless to any kind of stimulus. Not even a soda, just a drinks machine. As a cat owner since I can remember I was not satisfied. Probably in the colder months and when cats do not seem sedated it could be a nice activity to do but unfortunately for the rudeness of the girl with glasses and the unmanageable heat I give two points for cats that while sleeping for all 40 minutes inside are really nice and well kept.
