Relaxing on the river - A great way to spend a couple of hours in Budapest. We boarded the boat on time, were given our free welcome drink and directed to our seats on the upper 'panoramic' deck. The boat does not move at any great speed, meaning there is plenty of time to get the best photos along the route. A commentary is given for any special buildings and monuments as you travel up and down the river. Depending on which particular tour you opt for, there are secondary free drinks....however, if you have taken the basic package, there is the opportunity to buy drinks at very reasonable prices. The trip lasts around 90 minutes and is very relaxing.......a nice way to rest your feet from all the walking around in this amazing and beautiful city.

And my boyfriend opted for the beer which surprisingly he almost didn't manage - very generous bottles. There are speakers giving info on the history of the various landmarks you sail by which was nice. Great price too. Would recommend :

Great way to see Budapest from the river - This was a great, fairly small group tour with decent cocktails (or beers) for the priceIs just make sure you order your second drinks in plenty of time to be able to finish them!

A must do - The 4pm cruise time was perfect at this time of year as the sun began to set as we took off and it was dark for the final half hour. Relaxing quiet way to see the city by night. Cocktail option limited and not amazing but acceptable.

We were able to see everything along the river and the drink tickets get you 3 pretty large beers or 2 cocktails. The only small issue I had was that there was no commentary at all so we didn't know what we were looking at until we were able to check our map or look it up online. Other than that the tour was great and I would still recommend this!

Avoid this tourist trap! - We booked the 2 hour sunset Cocktail Cruise. The boat is huge and it took forever to load everyone on board. The two of us were placed at a table in the middle of the dining room. We had no view at all. We each were given two coupons for cocktails. Once those arrived we headed outside and stood along the railing for two hours. There was very limited seating on the two decks outside. The "cocktails" were so watered down, they were actually just soft drinks. My better half got the Mojito. It was basically Sprite with mint. The sights were nice, but there are MUCH better options for a sunset cruise. I felt that I didn't get near my money's worth.
