Mum and daughter visit - Loved it, a hot day in Budapest and we cooled down here. Something for everyone. Whirlpool/lazy river, bubble chairs. 2 huge swimming pools and lots of thermal plunge pools. We chose this one because we purchased a 72hr plus card for travelling around and this came with a free visit to the baths. Hat needed for swimming in the main pools, available to purchases for 2000ft from reception.

good facilities, poor customer service - The thermal baths and pools outside were all lovely, great facilities. However, very hard checking in at reception as someone speaking english, staff repeatedly spoke hungarian in our faces and made no attempt to try help us, gave us dirty looks and sighs as we tried to show our tickets

Great value and a hidden gem. - Fantastic spa! Despite going in peak August it was not very busy and felt very authentic, not too expensive either. Highly recommend.

Lovely Thermal Spa - Great time had by us both, a little challenging to find the entrance but we got there in the end! Lovely staff, very helpful and polite. I did have to ask for some direction as it was not forthcoming and map would be helpful as it is a maze of corridors. A great experience at a very affordable price, would recommend.

EXCELLENT - So..... the thermal baths until free for those who have the Budapest Card and you can stay there all day from 7 am to 8 pm. Without the Budapest Card the price is still derisory about 12 euros adults and 9 euros children. The context is not the best being within a fairly dated structure such as old Italian mutual societies. That said the interior is top although in some places not spotless but clean waters. When you enter it is useless to pay extra for the cabin because you are entitled to a personal Lockers where you can also find cabins. A double outdoor swimming pool with aquatic whirlpools, two outdoor swimming pools (here you need mandatory swimming cap). Inside it is a bit of a maze but there are three thermal pools at various temperatures, four saunas at various temperatures and relaxation areas. You can eat inside (there is a bar) or bring something. You can drink thermal water for free. A lot of toilets are located and here the fact that there is never a queue is a common problem in the world!!!! The deckchairs by the outdoor pool as the world is country come with wipes occupied by the usual early nights often size XXXL. Many elderly people in the morning who probably hope for some miraculous virtue of water guzzling gallons of thermal water but the toilets.... and many subjects with unreasonable sizes Peter Griffin who hope for miracles instead for the silhouette.... can also enter children. Somewhere it was read that children cannot access the three thermal pools but inside there is no prohibition. Hair dryer and hot showers all inclusive. That's nice. Recommendation not to always be recognized as 4 Neapolitan boys who were kicked out for casino. What a fool. Lots of people especially after 4pm. Best time in the morning and early afternoon. To get there you have to from metro stop two Battyany ter immediately take out tram 19 or 41 in three stops leaves you outside the spa.

Once found, everything ok - Difficult to find, no indication of where it is located. Thx to an older lady who helped us. Inside, the attendant was kind to grant us access. Inside it takes some searching for the cabinet and lockers (use). Outdated, but clean if possible. Definitely ok for that price.

It's part of it. - Outdoor swimming pools are certainly okay. Bathing indoors, an experience. Especially if you first sit in the locals changing room. Go directly to the cabins to change (a little further) It's a small maze. Baths not overcrowded, but quite a few people. Afterwards, my sensitive skin still suffered from redness. Definitely wanted to experience it, it will be a one-off.

Not crowded and really good! - Great spa! We went in peak season in summer but it was still not very crowded, really fun lazy river and other pools. Much better than other spas that have been described as ‘human soup’.

Try Sauna World while you’re there. :) - We loved it here, in fact we got in free with our Budapest card (which is expensive but can be worth it if you’re planning visiting certain places, for eg, the hop on hop off bus at Buda Castle is free with the card). St Lukacs is a little more run down than other baths, but it’s still flipping great! It’s a bit of a warren to explore but we found many people spoke good enough English to assist. Oh….pay a bit extra for Sauna World, it’s worth it. :)
