Stayed longer than planned - Meant to spend an hour and stayed there for half the day. Relaxing and enjoyable. Went from warm too hot to cool to cold to cool to warm! Great time.

A step back in time at the beautiful Gellert Spa - Stunning building and an excellent choice of spa baths and treatments. We had a cabin (changing room) that you lock with your entry band. Staff were helpful in explaining where to go for different pools. You need a head covering for the old pool and can buy these at the spa, they come with Budapest printed on them so a nice reminder to take home. The outside pool was pretty full as it was a sunny day but there are plenty sunbeds and chairs. We had drinks from the bar which were a little expensive but then the setting was beautiful.

Roman baths - Nice experience. Changing rooms need replacing and far too few. Rest area behind the curtains reminded me of the boarding school of >50 years ago. The baths were lovely! Beautiful hall!

Worth the visit - This is an old spa, not like the current ones, needs a little tlc now, but worth the visit, nice to chill after visiting all the sites and walking

It was a nice chilling day after viewing the city sites on the previous days - The hotel itself is currently closed down, it is old, and abandoned, but the spa is still running, it is old, but worth the visit and experience

Don’t be ghosted by Rudas, lots of others. - Fun time, except for wandering around in the labyrinth of the pools, baths, showers, etc. Odd, this seems to be a trend at the various locales in Budapest.

Plenty of sun loungers... - Plenty of sun loungers and in and drink outlets, but the cabins were shabby, the flip flops and hats rules were not enforced and the pools were colder than announced.

Filthy, miserable rude staff, but beautiful surroundings - I booked via Viator but the QR code didn't work. The staff were seriously rude and talking about me. The booth/cabin I was assigned had someone else's clothes in, so back I go to get a new allocation. The cabin was disgusting and filthy. I walked to some of the hot tubs, I didn't go in the pool as I didn't have a swimming cap. The outdoor facilities were closed. When I requested a towel I was told I'd have to purchase one!! Given the money I had spent I assumed I'd get more. It is beautiful, but filthy and the staff are rotten.

Not my cup of tea. - I like HOT springs. This place had 2 cold pools and 2 warm pools. Went on a Sunday and it was crowded with lots of children with blow up floaties. Some in pool in diapers.

Horrible check-in - TripAdvisor purchase confirmation DOES NOT WORK! Wasted 30 minutes to check in at ticket desk, where the employee was rude and acted like it was our fault. Then the wristband did not work properly and I had to be escorted around random parts of the spa. The one star was for the cabin assistants who were much more pleasant.
