Brilliant insight to the city thanks to Robert - Robert was my tour guide, he was funny and knowledgeable and gave us lots of advice and link once the tour was finished regarding where to eat, transport, areas to go and other tours to book on. I would 100% recommend Robert as a guide and as he does this for free I would suggest going through him direct +36 30 502 1117. He also answer any question you have regarding Budapest. Top guy 🤗 thank you Robert

A fun and informative time - Had a great time. Our guide was informative and entertaining. The sights you visit are the must-sees of Budapest and the tour is relaxed and gives you the time to enjoy them. There aren't too many people in the group so you are able to hear everything and follow the guide without a problem. Overall had a very good time.

Informative and fun introduction to Budapest - A great free walking tour on the Pest side of around 3 hours to do to introduce you to the key sights, culture, history and even some vocabulary to help you get by in Budapest. Sign up online or you can get free tickets from companies like Hop on Hop Off buses when buying their packages. The tour guide, Claudia, was very informative, humorous and engaged well with the group. The walking tour was well paced with plenty of stop points to help people catch up if needed. Highly recommend.

A guide who went above and beyond - I booked with Original over Guru just because the name of 'Guru Tours' made me roll my eyes - and then found that our group was with an independent employee who works for both! I was SO delighted that I ended up with Rob - a half-Hungarian, half-Canadian walking encyclopedia who really catered to the needs of our group and not only patiently answered our questions, but told us that we could contact him later on if we wanted recommendations or had further questions. He was *so* knowledgeable and personable that I'd say it doesn't matter which company you go through - just ask for him to be your tour guide. Great jokes, Rob, and I loved your new material. PSA: Please tip your free tour guides well. They have to pay the company a fee per person booked (and some companies charge more than others), and this is how many of them make a living. Brilliant tour and a fantastic way to learn a lot about a place in a short amount of time.

Budapest walking tour NOT!!!! - Firstly, the tour guide should turn up. Myself and my wife stood waiting at the meeting point from 10.40 to 11.20 AM but no tour guide arrived. There was no email to advise me of any changes. I rang the number given on the booking confirmation - no answer. Not acceptable!!!
