Delicious wine and charcuterie! - Loved getting to taste and learn about so many wines, and the charcuterie was delicious too! Really appreciated the different pairings for red and white wines. Had a great time!

Great experience, fun and informative - I'm really glad I participated in this activity while in Budapest. As a wine enthusiast, I found the level of information about wines, Hungarian wines, Hungary, pairing to be geared nicely to our audience, and tailored based on questions. As a wine educator myself, I know you can easily overwhelm your guests with to much information, so it's usually best to give basics and gear the deep dives based on their interests. Carlos, our host, did just that. Carlos, was knowledgeable, passionate and humorous. He came prepared to teach us the basics of Hungarian geography and history, and of wine in the country. Then geared how deep he went based on our questions and interest. He gave us time also to mix and mingle a bit and encouraged interactivity. The wines were delightful, I really like the whites especially. I love how the shop supports smaller boutique wineries that focus more on low intervention wine making techniques. It's so sad that Hungary doesn't distribute more to the US (I learned the production only just covers local consumption). But glad that now I have a shop that can ship to me if I need a fix! Thank you so much!

What a revelation of quality wine! - We were really surprised at the quality and variety of the tasting. From a glass of bubbly to start, three whites, three reds and a sweet Tokay to finish they all had something interesting to offer. The guide was very well informed and helped bring a relaxed atmosphere to the room. Mixed audience from Germany, UK and USA. The cheese and cured meats were also of excellent quality and it helped to be able to compare the wines with them.

Pleasant and instructive evening - It was a very pleasant evening in which the winemaker commented in all kinds of details on the origin of the wines and their characteristics. There were 4 whites, 3 reds and 1 sweet. It's a shame that there aren't these types of tastings in Spanish.

The instructor was very knowledgeable and personable. I would recommend this tour to anyone that loves exploring wines from other regions.

The most awesome wine tasting - This was the best wine tasting we've ever done. It was billed as 8 wines in 2 hours, but turned into 10 wines in 2 ½ hours, not that we wanted to leave. Karoly was knowledgeable and generous with his pours, and the accompanying cheeses (we don't eat sausages) were delicious. We went from one excellent wine to another and learned so much on the way. And the people we shared the table with were so friendly, it seemed like a party with friends we'd just met. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

A must do while in Hungary - Our sommelier was full of knowledge and happy to answer our numerous questions. We were not aware of how much wine Hungary produced. The wines were varied and enjoyable. The atmosphere was amazing. Don’t miss this experience

Wine in the afternoon - This tour was nice and quick. I was a little bummed when they had to move me to a earlier time but it works out. The guide was nice, the food was delicious and the wine was eclectic.

A great way to spend 2hrs but not recommended for first timers! - Wines were great but there was very little explanation for the wines and food pairings, we were left to drink and eat at our own leisure! Although the wines were explained, this is not suitable for first timers/ if you are seeking a more guided experience. We had to reschedule at very late notice and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and understanding in accommodating us onto another time slot! The sommelier was also very knowledgeable and friendly!
