Rip off. We booked a private tour but got a very expensive and very late taxi ride - We booked a 2 hour sightseeing trip in Budapest end December. Booked and confirmed for 10.30 but at 11 he hadn't arrived. Prolonged and expensive phone calls ensued and we were told it was booked for 12.30. Wrong! So 90 minutes late our so called guide arrived. Turned out to be a normal taxi driver with not much local knowledge who just drove round various sites and only gave information when we asked questions. Not a tour guide at all and we wasted £82 and half a day of our precious 3 day trip. Absolute rubbish.
