Budapest with Andy - I had Andy/Andrea as a guide. She was fantastic. Very knowledgeable guide with a professional approach. Next time I come back to Budapest, I'll get back to her. The coffee stop was also very nice. Lots of different tasty strudels and good tea.

Eszter was great! - Eszter met us in the hotel lobby to start the tour, and was very personable and spoke English very well. On our way to the train to where the tour would start (and throughout the rest of the tour), she was full of information and personal anecdotes about the city's history and her personal experience there over the years. She clearly paid attention to what we were interested in hearing about or not, our comfort with the weather (it was very cold), and the coffee shop stop in the middle was superb (and especially welcome with the weather). Also, at the end of the tour we told her what else we had coming up and she gave us advice about restaurants and other helpful information (for example, she pointed out where the entrance to the Parliament tour is, which probably ended up being a life-saver for us getting to the tour on time).

A great morning out with Christina - We were met by Christina at 9.30am at our hotel. She was both friendly and fun to be around. Throughout the tour she displayed a great wealth of knowledge and spoke with passion over all areas visited. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone and hopefully you will be lucky enough to get Christina as your guide.

Best way to see Budapest! - Tamas was an amazing guide who showed us so much of Budapest in 4+ hours (tour was scheduled to be only 3 hours). He covered 1,000 years of history and answered our endless questions. Tamas also helped us plan activities for the rest of our stay, and even provided information for a future trip to Hungary. I highly recommend this walking tour and Tamas in particular if you want a fabulous tour of Budapest and a fascinating overview of Budapest's history and culture.

3 days in Budapest - Just two of us with Balint. He set a great pace. He was extremely knowledgeable about the sites and history with a great sense of humor. The pastry sampling was excellent. We would definitely recommend this tour.

A great private tour with Tamas - We booked this tour for 6 of us as we thought it would be a great way of seeing the major sights in both Buda and Pest. Tamas met us at our hotel - and he was ready to go before we were - with a couple fo ideas for an itinerary. But said that he was happy to shape the tour around what we wanted to do which we did, including him arranging for us to stop at a different Cafe. He was a mine of useful information and, to be fair, some useless but nonetheless amusing info as well ! And our 3 hour tour ended up being a 4.5 hour tour and he would have been happy to carry on - but we needed to stop for lunch. Have to say that he was one of the best tour guides we've had - not just in Budapest but anywhere,

Excellent - perfect first day event - This walking tour is a perfect introduction to Budapest. We not only walked but also took the metro and were given a very interesting look at Hungarian history. Our guide, Anne, not only gave us a history lesson but also so much useful info for getting around: how to buy metro tickets, basic pronunciation, help with exchange rate, popular foods - so much “survival “ info for first time visitors. Only suggestion we would have to make the tour even better would be a short introduction to history ( maybe with a map) before the walk starts. We loved this tour!!!

Historically rich and fun Tour - Our delightful guide Petra led us a fascinating tour starting from the Opera House and ending on Castle Hill. Whew! She kept us on good pace, mindful to share interesting historical facts and amusing legends. She was wise to take the local metro for a few stops just to get to the prime tourist spots in a timely manner. It's a great way to check out the lay of the land and overview of this vast city. Highlights include: City Park with its many replica castles; Szechenyi baths; Matthias Church; Chain Bridge. You also get a nice rest stop to sample streudel. Note: in summer wear sunscreen, a hat, and bring water, since there are no stops along the way to replenish yourself.
