- Király Street - This is a unique opportunity to visit the home of a local and explore traditional culture and cuisine. Marti hosts this experience at her second apartment; she used to live there with her husband before they had their child. Once their son was born, they moved a little further from the city center and converted their downtown apartment into a cooking studio. Her apartment is in a historic building that was built in the 1920s. It is conveniently located in downtown Budapest and is a 12-minute walk from the Hungarian State Opera House. Join Marti at her home cooking studio,a large and well equipped space for a hands-on Budapest cooking class. Marti aims to combine traditional family recipes with new technology. You will learn to cook 3 dishes from scratch (a soup, main course and dessert) during your 2-hour hands-on cooking class. Marti’s knowledge and passion for cooking is evident in the way she explains how to prepare each dish with step-by-step instructions. After cooking, enjoy a meal with Marti at her dining table.
