Want to go back! - Upon entering everyone was helpful and kind. Super clean, enough space in each area to enjoy the water and time with my husband. Didn’t want to leave!

Balm of Giliad - What an amazing, therapeutic day in Budapest. The springs were amazing!! I was great to see people from all over the world and different cultures enjoy the bath.

Pretty but dirty - Beautiful place, wish it was a little warmer. Inside baths were a bit dirty. Changing rooms with locks were very convenient.

Happy Days 😎 - We did go and see the inside pools, which were fine but enjoyed the outdoor pools. Had fun in the whirlpool. There were so many people there. It was really busy.

Beautiful and clean but not great for accessibility - We came as a group of 7 adults. Having read the reviews in advance we arrived early (before 9.30am) in order to get a sun lounger in the shade. The pools are lovely and clean and the architecture is breathtaking.. The lifeguards were also very helpful in providing a swimming cap to myself and my friend. The 3 star review is in reflection of the poor accessibility. A member of our group was using crutches but there were no accessible toilets and multiple stairs everywhere. We left at approximately 1pm and there was a big queue outside. So definitely arrive early if you want to sit or lay comfortably

Worth a visit, but not a revisit! - Building could do with a repaint. Parts of the indoor pools were under refurbishment plus the water in a few of the open indoor pools was disgusting. Had a green tinge and lots of floating bits in the water. We enjoyed the outdoor pools. There were not enough loungers for the amount of people in the spa. So I would advise to go not later than 10.30am. The Palinka shot that was included in the trip was closed so you had to go to another venue for it. Glad that we went, but wouldn’t be a place I would return to. Top tip…. If you use the hop on bus, get off at the hero’s monument. As the spa is a few minutes walk through the park!

Do not get your hopes high - If you book a five star hotel with spa option at Budapest then you can skip this experience. The thermal bath basically a heated pool. The indoor pools smell really bad. The outdoor pools are bearable but there are usually a lot of people in the weekends. Private cabin is better than a locker. Our tour included a complimentary palinka museum tour but we were told it was under construction so no tour. I wish we knew it before booking.

Just not worth the price - Found the whole experience to be boring and massively overpriced. The indoor pools are small and to be honest don't really look that clean (I didn't go in). The outside has 3 pools. It's only the middle one you can actually swim in (you will need a swimming cap). We arrived at 9.30 and all the loungers had been taken. There was one small restaurant where there were big cues and they sold out various things pretty quickly. There were 4 of us and we all had to share 1 locker where we paid for 4. Biggest waste of £100+ for quite a while. Wouldn't recommend.

Negative review - I booked the ticket from Schezenyi spa's official website. They sajd we had paid for the entrance only and the massage requires an extra 18000HUF (but that was not the case on their website, on their website they mentioned we have a massage package). We were also not the only ones complaining about this subject, alot of people who had the sane experience were asking for a refund in the entrance. Also, apart from the above mentioned, they told us that we need to pay an 25000HUF extra (for 4 person) for not arriving on time. We had actually arrived at 11:00 am sharp but we couldn’t figure out which entrance to use (there are 3 entrances and we passed by them all :’) ) ... When we were inside, the place was very messy, very unclean. The spa should accomodate a limited number of people per day, and not accommodate 1000000 of people and forget about the hygiene.
