Lovely boat cruise and wonderful wine tasting - The wine tasting boat tour was great. The staff was really friendly, especially Sara, who gave us so many tips and explained the wines very well. All of the wines presented were very unique and traditional for Hungary (red, white, rose, dessert). The setting of the city at night is a must see from the Donau.

Interesting cruise, wine's are good, worth price - The tour was what they promised, not more, not less. I enjoyed it a lot. My friends had some trouble finding the dock, but the hostesses helped them on the phone.

Great tour, wonderful staff - The tour was great as well as the boat. We enjoyed it a lot. The staff was really kind, especially Fabian, who was very friendly with us. The wines were tasteful and most had a very special buqe, which they told us is a specialty in Hungary.

Good evening - We really enjoyed this wine tasting. Our somillier was very knowledgable. Unfortunately we were seated next to a food cruising group so it wasn’t a very intimate experience

Nice boat ride, undrinkable wine - Beautiful boat ride, but save yourself the trouble and book either the dinner cruise or the beer tour. We dumped most of our wine overboard and switched to beer and cocktails. The boat was nice, it was a beautiful evening, and the food was decent.

Quite Disappointing - We took this cruise this evening (May 13th). As it turned out, it was not only a "wine tasting" cruise but a number of other "theme" cruises all on the same boat, which was surprising, as we'd expected, though I suppose we had no reason to do so, that the boat would be small(er) and limited to our "themed" activity. So the "wine tasting tables" were in the center - no window locations - while the "dinner cruise" tables were along both sets of windows. There was another group up front and one above, though I don't know what their "themes" were. The "dinner cruise" folks had a drink and began eating before we were served our first wine to taste. If one was "take an evening cruise as inexpensively as possible," that's the one I'd do next time unless I opted for a very expensive but well-done one. Too, though "snacks" supposedly were included, the "snacks" consisted solely of a basket of breadsticks, some burnt. So I guess having 2 breadsticks means one has had "snacks" though that's not really what I think "snacks" means. As a consequence, though we'd had our primary meal at lunch in anticipation of "snacks" offsetting tasing 7 wines, we had to order food. We had and shared goulash soup, chicken paprika, and a chef's salad. The soup was little more than a spicy beef stew, the chicken paprika was good but not exceptional, and the salad was "croutons with dressing" - virtually no lettuce, and diced chicken squares found only after wading through the croutons and dressing. Too, it took asking 3 different servers to get flatware with which to eat the chicken. Unfortunately it was a cold, windy evening, so enjoying the cruise from the exposed decks was difficult, though that was the only location where the (interesting) narration was broadcast. Too, one of the highlights of the evening cruise was to see the important building lit up at night, but the course taken meant that that excluded almost all of the Parliament building - perhaps the most famous and interesting sight in the City. One really good aspect of the experience, though, was that the price included transfers to and from our hotel. That worked out very well. The driver was on time both going and returning, pleasant and professional, and drove carefully. Also, due to my own inexperience communicating via text and iPhone overseas, I had to deal w/ the office a couple of times, and the people there were very clear and responsive. While we don't like to give mediocre reviews, I'd vote this one as a definite "pass".

Wine tasting tour - We book our tickets through getyourguide. Very rude and dissapointing reception. Same rude personel poured the wine with no enthusiasm for the wine nor detail shared of the wine nor sights we are seeing. The snacks is only bread sticks. There is no real view out from where the wine was served. The music was good and we enjoyed it. The views was good from the deck as it was easily accessible as well. Would not say 33 euros is worth paying for this trip.

Wine tasting disaster - We purchased the wine tasting cruise online and arrived to see this was a boat which had a number of different cruises ongoing with multiple groups. The wine was mostly undrinkable, including the red which had developed bubbles. We wanted to order some snacks, which were advertised, however none were available except tortilla chips at a ridiculous price. The music was equally poor, and the table for wine tasting barely had a view out of the windows - an internal table although we were assured otherwise beforehand. Trying to salvage the trip, we made our way on deck and ordered some drinks from the bar - flat soda, weak measures and alot of added water. This tour is a complete waste of your evening.
