What an awesome day! 5 stars isn't enough! - This was my first time out of the country. Visited with 2 friends and was told we had to book an excursion, which you can do on every corner. I started researching through Trip Advisor and on my own and On the Road popped up several times. We decided on a private trip which wasn't much more in price. We were picked up on time.. Verni..on behalf of myself, Lindsay and Julie.. you truly made our trip. The drive to the location was smooth, Verni was super funny and knowledgeable. We started with ziplining, did hanging bridges, and saw several cool birds and monkeys! We had lunch which was buffet style, walked to a beautiful waterfall, horseback riding and lastly a mud bad with hot springs..the coolest part was we felt safe doing all of this because we had a guy along with us! Thank you thank you.. and thank you for laughing with us, taking 100s of pictures of us..it's a long day but was so worth it! #vernimadeusfamily.
We are still talking about it today!

Top Notch! One stop shop for airport transports, excursions and more! - On the Road Costa Rica did an amazing job transporting our large 25 person group with 2 different arrivals and departures. On time, great prices, refreshments and we thoroughly enjoyed Anthony's vast knowledge of Costa Rica's history! Highly recommend this group!
We arranged our excursion through OTRCR too. Amazing time at Buena Vista with zip lining/horse back/ hanging bridges/ lunch / water slide/ water fall and hot springs. Our guide Bernie was top notch! So much history to share, pointing out nature's beauty, engaging the group and ensuring we all had a great day!
One final note, we contacted Anthony (owner/operator) the day before in need of breakfast burritos since it was an early pick up (and 25 people!). Anthony arranged with a local chef to have them delivered that am! One stop shop at OTRCR!
Highly recommend!

The best tourist guide - We made the trip to Buena Vista and visited Rincón de la Vieja National Park. We had a little mishap so the driver who was supposed to pick us up never arrived. They called Verny last minute. From the beginning, he was very courteous and friendly. He made our visit more than pleasant. He explained everything about the culture and history of Costa Rica and at every turn explained everything about the different trees and wild animals of the place. He accompanied us all the way and made us feel like family. He walked me to the zip line and made me feel safe. I recommend Verny 101% to be your Tourist Guide. Thank you very much Verny.

BEST DRIVER BY FAR! - We did the all day adventure tour including ziplining, horseback riding, river tubing and volcanic mud bath and hotsprings. We enjoyed all the activities. We thought river tubing was the best. We were HIGHLY IMPRESSED with our driver Verny!! He made our entire day amazing. He was so knowledgeable about Costa Rica, he was very professional and courteous, he went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed including buying bug spray for us because we forgot to bring it, he went WAY ABOVE and beyond a normal driver. He took over 100 photos of our group through out the day and worked hard to make sure we had an amazing day. 👏 We can't recommend him enough!

AMAZING Service - We used On The Road for our excursion to Hacienda Guachipelin. Verny, our driver, was not only on time to pick us up at 6:00 AM sharp, but also courteous and conscientious. He was very clearly knowledgeable and always so inviting. He truly embodies the Pura Vida lifestyle and quickly let us know he wanted to make us feel at home - which he did and then some!
I would highly recommend booking their services and book with them again the next time I am in Costa Rica.

Personal Family zipline/horse back ride/water slide/hot springs excursion - Our family excursion experience with this company and our guide, Verny, was absolutely exceptional! Excellent communication and transportation. Verny did an absolute great job teaching us about Costa Rican culture and nature all the while making sure we were avoiding the long lines of the large groups. He really went the extra mile to ensure we had a great time and took many pictures for us to remember the day. This experience was the highlight of our vacation! Thanks again Verny!

Excellent experience on Costa Rica - Our experience was fantastic‼️ our guide Hernin Sandi was excellent. He made our adventure very educational and fun. We horseback ride, river tubed, had delicious lunch, zip lined and hot springs with mud bath. He picked us up right at our Airbnb and delivered us back there. Highly recommend these activities and this company. Just do it❣️

Great Tour Guide and Tour - Alberto was a phenomenal tour guide. He picked us up at our hotel on time (6:30am), and had cold water ready. He let us stop at a cute cafe to grab some coffee and breakfast before the excursion. He was very knowledgeable and had great answers to all our questions. The activities themselves were so much fun. There was only three of us so we were able to take our time and really enjoy the activities. Beginner/intermediate friendly. They also have a cultural experience which was a great addition to all the physical activities.
The drive back was also great. We were able to stop for a bathroom/snack break and. This is a long day so come prepared for extra clothing and snacks. Sneakers are a must for the zip line and horseback riding but having an extra pair of sandals/flip flops for the mud baths is a great idea. They do provide towels. Our tour guide made the trip super enjoyable. He took pictures and videos for us, and was a great addition to our group!
