Great introduction to Buenos Aires. - Seeing the cemetery where Eva Peron was interred. Our guide Lu was very knowledgeable and very patient answering our questions. Our driver was very helpful in assisting everyone in and out of the van.

Loved our Custom Buenos Aires tour - The fun started when Ludmila picked us up at the hotel. She was so pleasant and knowledgeable. The driver, Carlos, did a fantastic job in navigating and parking and keeping us safe. There was sufficient time to browse and enjoy and ask questions. Altho we had seen most of the places, we had not gone inside or knew much about the history of Buenos Aires. Ludmila educated us; not just with the "touristy" stuff, but with the background and little touches such as the significance of symbols. I would definitely recommend this tour and the guide and the driver.

A Great Way to See Buenos Aires! - This was a great way to see more of Buenos Aires. Ludmila was our tour guide with Carlos, as her driver. The vehicle was a little small for us and it wasn’t easy to get in or out, but we made it work. She was very knowledgeable and friendly, and made the day very fun. We drove to several indoor markets with an opportunity for lunch. It was very warm and humid so I stayed with a refreshing lemonade. A huge book store converted from an old theater was an amazing stop, definitely difficult with a large tour bus. The cemetery that Eva Peron was buried in held an interesting story that many people probably don’t know. You’ll have to go to find the truth. The cemetery was huge but very worthwhile. I felt like we experienced more than if we were part of a large group in a personalized day. It was fun and memorable!

The haves and the have nots, a history of Buenos Aires through the tombs of Recoleta Cemetery - We met Laura, our tour guide, at UAB. Laura was very knowledgeable of Argentina and Buenos Aires. She gave us information about the dichotomy of BA…the European versus South American cultures. And the opulence of Recoleta juxtaposed with the grittiness of “la villa”. We toured the Recoleta cemetery with Laura as she gave us some of the history of the various tombs and the prominent families that they belonged to. Following our tour we had coffee at a historic cafe and discussed the political aspects of Buenos Aires and we enjoyed the company of Laura and her 2 trainees. We recommend whatever tour you take, to ask for Laura. She spoke excellent English and with her background in anthropology provided a depth of understanding not found in most tours. At the same time she treated us like old friends.

Great way to spend a long layover in Buenos Aires! - Juan was able to accommodate us at the last minute, picking us up at Jorge Newbury, showing us some of the best/most important sights in Buenos Aires for 3 hours while keeping our luggage secure, then took us to EZE airport in plenty of time for our departing flight. He was friendly and knowledgeable, and even brought us a sweet treat at the start of our tour!

Colorful Buenos Aires! - Juan and 2 drivers accommodated us at the last minute- we had an 8+ hour layover in Buenos Aires and had to travel between airports. We were able to completely customize our trip and saw some of the wonderful art and historic areas of the city. Juan was very knowledgeable and friendly- he even greeted us with a sweet treat on our arrival from El Calafate!

Wished it had been a private tour! - Don't make the mistake of thinking custom means a private tour. It doesn't say private and I made that mistake. I will be very careful next time. There were two other couples who we didn't know. We really couldn't do things at the pace we wanted because there was more walking than one of the couples needed to be doing. The tour guide was very sweet and quite knowledgeable and the driver was very good. Had it been just the four of us, it would have been fine.
