Highlights
  • Avenida 9 De Julio - The tour starts in the downtown area visiting the most iconic buildings including the presidential palace, the national congress, the teatro Colón, the Obelisco, the palace Barolo and others.
This part of the tour is done by car but if you want to visit any of these buildings inside, we can arrange a visit by paying an additional ticket that allows entry.
  • Lagos de Palermo - On the way to lunch, we pay a brief car visit to the biggest park in Buenos Aires, It is the same area where the Rosedal (Rose Garden) and the iconic Galileo Galilei Planetarium built in the early 60s are located.
  • Recoleta - The tour continues in the beautiful neighborhood of Recoleta. This area is the reason why Buenos Aires is called the Paris of South America. The strong French architecture and the different upscale stores, make this one of the most iconic neighborhoods in Buenos Aires. After parking the car, travelers can enjoy a walking tour and it is a great oppotunity to do some shopping as well.
  • Cementerio de la Recoleta - This cementery was named one of the most impressive in the world. Eva Perón, argentine presidents and nobel prize winners among other notable people are buried here.
  • Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires - Travelers can enjoy the dynamic and interactive cultural arena known as Malba where multiple temporary cultural exhibitions take place. Since 1990, Malba has been visited by a large number of international scholars and art lovers.
  • Palermo - We stop for lunch in the biggest neighborhood in Buenos Aires. Travelers can choose between different restaurant options to taste either some good Argentine steak or a delicious plate of pasta with some Malbec.
  • Jardin Japones - The Japanese Garden first inaugurated in 1967 and visited by the emperoro of Japan Akihito is a relaxing experience in the middle of a big city. Travelers can walk through the park and enjoy some fresh air while looking at the japanese architecture.
  • La Boca - This colorfu iconic neighborhood was home to the middle class and poor immigrants that arrived to Argentina in the 19th and 20th century. Travelers get to visit the immigration history of Argentina and of course a walking tour of Caminito.

Best private tour we have ever had! - Martin Yankelevich was great! Martin began communicating with us via WhatsAp as soon as the reservation was made (months before the tour) to ask what we wanted to see. He continued his communications up until the day prior and picked us up at our hotel on time in a luxury vehicle. We were touring prior to a cruise and had planned a half-day intercity tour the following day. Martin tailored our tour to exclude things we might see on the half-day tour. Martin took us to the Lagos de Palermo city park, the Japanese Gardens, the Recoleta Cemetery and neighborhood, China Town, the water front with the Woman's Bridge, and last but not least La Boca. La Boca is a poor Buenos Aires neighborhood that has become a tourist district, has many police, has great food and sights, and is a must-see. Martin was by far the most professional private guide that we have encountered in our worldwide travels. Martin provided drinks and snacks as part of the tour. Thanks for a great tour, Martin! GREAT Buenos Aires tour - Martin Y was great! He communicated with us weeks prior to our arrival. We were picked up on time at our hotel and taken to many Buenos Aires sites we would have never seen without Martin. Drinks and snacks were provided. Take this tour and ask for Martin.

Your Buenos Aires Must Do! - We can not recommend this Private City Tour with Martin Yankelevich highly enough. He worked very diligently by email before we arrived, making suggestions and listening to our likes and dislikes, to come up with a day that would be specifically suited to our interests. Martin was able to suggest a tour itinerary that captured everything we hoped to see and do and more. He was also able to be flexible on the day as time and the weather dictated. Martin had wonderful local knowledge and had great judgement in his recommendations and restaurant choice. It enriched our visit to Buenos Aires, was a relaxing day allowing his lead, while very interesting and memorable. We were truly thrilled with our decision to do this.

Introduction to other parts of BA - I had an enjoyable day with Martin. He is a very courteous young man who is delighted to build up his business. We spent a lot of time in the northern barrios of Belgrado and Palermo and went to Recoleta Cemetery and the Japanese Gardens. After all that we really only had time to drive through Puerto Madero down to La Boca. We could probably easily have rejigged it to spend more time in the centre. He will go with the flow of whether you want a full lunch or a quick snack. It was a full day from 8:30 till 5 and well worth it.
