The flight begins by tasting a welcome homemade “picada” while we learn about the history of Argentine cuisine.

Then, we roll up our sleeves and cook a four-course local menu, which includes a snack, appetizer, main course, and dessert.

During the experience, we will not only learn how to prepare traditional recipes, but also about their history and origin. Finally, following our customs, we will share everything we cooked sitting around our table, in an intimate and cozy atmosphere where you can meet travelers from all around the world, and, why not? Make new journey friends.

A Buenos Aires MUST DO! - Franco was such an amazing host! I LOVED the food we made and mingling with the other participants. They presented some really interesting historical facts to us, which was a great way to learn about Argentina from a historical/cultural lens. A great value considering the length of the experience, enjoyment, and quality of food! They even did a great job accommodating our dietary restrictions. Cannot recommend this enough!

Excellent experience! - This was the highlight of our stay in Buenos Aires! Franco who runs the course, is a friendly, knowledgeable and highly charismatic chef who cultivates a fun and relaxed atmosphere for the entire duration. The course lasted over 3.5 hours and included plenty of food and wine. Some of the highlights were making empanadas from scratch, as well as Chimichurri sauce. It's a very professionally run experience and I would certainly recommend for anyone looking to get immersed in Argentinian food culture along with a nice lunch!

Make this a priority while in BA! - The Pachamama Experience was the best cooking experience that we have had. Everything was well organized and everyone was kept actively involved. Most importantly, all was done in a very fun and personal way and the food was delicious. We also appreciated learning about the history of food in Argentina and gained an appreciation of the differences by region. We highly recommend this activity!
