Fabulous Delta Tigre - The BA Delta Tigre experience exceeded expectations! Beautiful cruise on river, cruise into small delta with small homes and beautiful tropical scenery. Walked 6 miles all around diff parts of the city with stop at ice cream /patisserie. Had our own tour guide for four people. Experienced Argentina Train Travel with beautiful Mitre station. Lunch included- with delicious Argentina coffee! Exceptional time. Highly recommend.

Great way to see outside of downtown Buenos Aires! - A fantastic excursion! My husband, I and two friends were met at the pier by our guide, Alejandra. She was excellent - she told us may interesting pieces of information throughout the day, including where to sit for the best views. The boat ride was interesting, lunch was delicious, and the train ride gave us a peek into real life in Buenos Aires. I would highly recommend this tour!

For something different and fun - The boat ride was very nice and gave insight into how people in that area live. The town of Tigre was good although there isn't much to see. My tour guide Oliver was very informative and personable. I would recommend this as something different from the run of the mill city tour.

Beautiful scenery - Everything ran on time and very smoothly. I was pleased to discover we had a tour guide for only four people so we got very special attention. Great inexpensive way to spend the day!

Our guide was not very... - Our guide was not very attentive while on the cruise (I learned more from other guides). He was fine when we were off the boat. We did walk much more than we had expected. The lunch (chicken) was very dry. We also expected to be on a train not a commuter rail. Most of us had to stand almost the whole way from San Isidro to the Buenos Aires station.

All day Tigre Tour - We would recommend the cruise, it was enjoyable trip along the riverfront to the estuary of the river Plate. We would have given it 3.5 to 4 but we had a guide who did not add much to our tour. There was on board tour announcement but our guide kept too much to herself and provided very little additional tour information like the other guides to their guests. Essentially we had a guide who met us told us where to go, bought our tickets, but very little else. We had other tours that provided much more colour. Perhaps she was new or was shy to speak English.

Badly planned trip - The river cruise part is great, but unfortunately it goes down hill from there. Lunch is supposed to be at a riverside restaurant sitting looking at the river enjoying the sunshine and a restful lunch. Instead you are either inside a very dark small restaurant or out the back on a side street nowhere need the river. Then you walk to the market (right past the train that you need to take later in the day) where you walk around the few stalls that are open in a few minutes. There is not time allocated to look around. Then you walk all the way back to the restaurant/river area to walk the opposite direction and cross the river. You then walk for miles to see a museum that is closed, and even if it was open you don't have time to go in. Then you walk all the way back to cross the river and go back almost to the market to catch the train. Our tour guide Ariel was fine, but such a badly planned out tour. After you get off the first train, or go to the cathedral, a cafe for a coffee and then walk again through a really interesting suburb of shops, but again no time to spend there looking around. Onto the last train which drops you about 30 minutes by taxi, from the city centre. You cant use the subway as you don't have a metro card and using the bus system when you don't know directions, or the language is not viable. All around a disappointing day. Tigre is lovely if you are not backtracking, and the boat ride is great. The rest is not good.
