Seventh generations’ generosity and passion about their craft - This was a revelation that anyone can enjoy. Seventh generation of balsamic farmers/producers are still passionate about their craft and so generous with their knowledge, product and time. From greeting us like old friends to answering numerous questions and explaining the intricacies of balsamic making, we were impressed. And then, the food began…not a tasting, a feast. Locally produced goods! This tour is a must!

A delicious experience - We loved tasting all of the balsamic vinegars. It was amazing how the taste of the food was enhanced by the vinegar. We had our selections sent home but every time I was in a restaurant I wished I had brought a bottle of the balsamic with me to put on my salad. I remembered how much better it tasted. Also, because of the car race in town no taxis were available to get to the tasting. Marcello went out of the way to get us there which was so amazing. We would highly recommend the event.

Best stop on the Italy trip - An incredible experience that makes you discover the craftsmanship behind balsamic vinegar, the best goal of the trip. Went on the tour and got to experience the process and see the world's oldest DOP barrel. Wonderful family who guided. Incredibly knowledgeable. This must be experienced

Learning about quality balsamic vinegar - What an experience in such a beautiful setting learning all about the process of making real balsamic vinegar from scratch. The Cavedoni family has an interesting history and it’s nice to see that the six generation is continuing their passion of producing quality balsamic vinegar. We were able to taste the different ages of the balsamic vinegar which was amazing! They ended the tour with an amazing lunch incorporating the variety of balsamic vinegars. Would definitely recommend visiting them.

A must do tour - My friend said this was a must do tour and I must agree. Marcelo was amazing with us even though a the missing of a train caused my husband and myself to be late. We learned so much about the process, learned about family history and had wonderful conversation. Marcelo and his father were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
