This handy shore outing allows you to traverse Cadiz in an open-top, double-decker bus, visiting landmarks like the Cadiz cathedral and Puerta de Tierra. Riders have the flexibility to discover at their own pace by getting on and off at any of the 9 tour stations on the course, or remaining on the bus for the complete 60-minute circuit.

Departures from Stop 1 Avenida del Puerto at 10am, 10:30am, 11am, 11:20am, 11:45am, 12:15pm, 12:35pm, 1pm, 1:30pm, 2:15pm, 3pm, 3:45pm, 4:30pm, 5:15pm and 6pm
Tour duration - 75 minutes

Specific Cruise Passenger Info: Cruise passengers will be able to board the tour a short walk away from the exit. When exiting the terminal, please turn left and approximately 50 metres away will be the Avenida Del Puerto stop. On dates with numerous cruise arrivals, there will be City Sightseeing staff present to direct guests.
Please note, on Wednesday 1st May due to demonstrations, the first tour will depart between 12pm and 1pm

Excellent Lay of the Land View - For many years this type of thing, where available, is one of our first excursions. No matter what town or city it helps you fix landmarks and get an idea of the town size. This has the benefit of a no fuss two day ticket. Bought online and no problems getting on the bus near our hotel. Seconds and tickets issued - very efficient. Reasonable quality earphones. Good language choice and for English a very succinct commentary. Obviously cannot go into the old City but skirts it quite nicely. Recommended.

Great transportation and quick tour - The hop on and off bus is right at the port and very easy to get to. The lines from the cruise ship are long and best to get there early. We got off at the cathedral and walked back to the ship. Turn to number 2 for English translation on the bus I recommend this but it’s not for those that expect luxury high end

Good experience overall - Our confirmation said pickup at the port entrance, however we had to walk quite some distance to get to the actual stop to join the tour. The audio was good, but for some reason kept cutting out. All in all however, it provided a good orientation to Cadiz, which is what I wanted.

Great narration on Cadiz - Tree branches on 2nd level can hurt when they hit you. Thank goodness I had glasses on to protect my eyes. Once aware of the situation I ducted out of the way and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Cadiz is rich with history and the audio on the bus was done very well.

Rude guide - The trip was very interesting within the Old Town It clearly stated on our receipt that entrance to the Cathedral was included A rude guide followed me into the entrance and snatched my receipt out of my hand and told me to follow her She snatched the receipt from another lady to show me the difference Extremely rude and aggressive tour guide Very disappointed we did not get to visit the Cathedral

Good for a hot day if you have limited time. - Interesting tour that was very busy. Inevitably some minor issues with the audio connection and there was only a limited commentary on the whole tour. We have been on many in a host of different cities. Some give a very detailed and informative commentary and others give very little. This tour fell into the latter category. An overlong stop by the cruise terminal which was unwarranted. However, if you have limited time on a hot day it is the way to get a good taste of what Cadiz has to offer.

Crappy customer service - Didn't go on the tour. I erroneously scheduled for June 6 instead of August 6 when I will actually be in Spain. I contacted Viator and the tour operator and was unable to get the date changed. I did not want the money back just to simply change the date. So I lost my money. From the sounds of a lot of these reviews I didn't miss out on much of a tour so I guess I saved my time as I will do something else when I am in Cadiz in August.

Hop off? Where are we? - There was supposed to be 3 different routes. The #3 was not running. #2 did not have any way to tell you where you were or what you were seeing. Not that you could really see out the bad windows if the bus. Was not worth what we pay for it. Usually the hop on hop off is a good deal. Not so much here. Seemed like the company there was struggling to stay open
