Once in Sardinia… - Our trip was amazing and very instructive. The guide is very friendly and (positively) talkative. We saw this gorgeous wild (and free of tourists!) green area - a little paradise with hearth-breaking landscapes and outstanding views. It was a real opportunity to discover another face of Sardinia : wild, calm and natural. And the guide explained us everything and showed us some beautiful corners that we probably couldn’t have found by ourselves. We’d be glad to have another trip with him!

Wild horses on the Giara di Gesturi plateau - Excellent! Dirk was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We not only got to see the Giara horses, but he shared a lot about the plants, other animals, and the history of the area. We also stopped at a Domus de Janas (Fairy House), a pre-Nuragic chamber tomb cut into the rocks, and the village of Villamar, which has multiple murals. Highly recommend.

Lovely experience in nature - Lovely experience. Dirk is very knowledgeable and knows his way around very well. The Van was comfortable and airconditioned. Took us to some beautiful landmarks and we managed to see some wild horses and plenty of fauna. Definitely recommended.

A Most Wonderful Experience - This may very well be the top activity I’ve been on in all my travels. Dirk not only provided information on the natural areas, but he shared about grain and olive oil mills we passed, tidbits of history of little towns we drove through, he offered great Sardinian food suggestions, why the dogs were lounging in the remote dirt roads, and history of the area. He identified many edible wild plants And it was all done with enthusiasm. Yet he saved the most passion for the wild horses and the area where they live. Don’t think he was all serious as he has a wonderful sense of humor too. Plus he was very flexible with our time. We had a chance to stop in Villamar for refreshment before we finished our amazing adventure back in Cagliari. Truly a wonderful, memorable experience.
