Enhance your time in Cairo by adding a comprehensive tour of the Egyptian Museum to your itinerary. You will be visiting Egypt’s most significant museum under the guidance of an Egyptologist.

On this 2-hour journey through the Egyptian Museum, your guide will point out the highlights of the incredible display of relics from the old, middle, and new kingdoms.

The museum is a repository of over 250,000 genuine objects, inclusive of the treasures of the most famous Egyptian pharaoh, Tutankhamen. The displayed gold and jewelry had been entombed with him for more than 3,500 years until it was unearthed during the 1920s’ excavations.

Subsequently, we will proceed to downtown Cairo, where you can walk and eat like the locals do. You’ll have the opportunity to sample local cuisines like Falafel (crushed, fried beans), Egyptian beans, and shawarma, and then we’ll visit a local coffee shop to enjoy the most popular beverage, Mint Tea.

The ONE museum and ONE guide for a day in Cairo - I am typically not a museum person but this experience was wonderful! Mido not only knows the timelines, facts and history but he is able to break it down ensuring we focused on the important treasures that created Egypt. His continual reminders of who was related and how and recalling the sites we had seen put us in the history.
