Mohammed is awesome - Jakada tours were amazing. From the pick up at the airport to the drop-off. Ahmed, Mohammed, and our driver were very friendly and professional. They showed so much hospitality. It really felt like we were vacationing with family. We will return and use Jakada tours again.

I’d use Jakada again and again! Good vibes! - Jakada provided us with an amazing and authentic experience! He and Ahmed met us at the hotel and made sure that we were well taken care of. The trip to the pyramids was smooth and frustration-free, as was our time visiting memorable locations throughout. Haithom and our driver truly became friends during the trip. He told me that he’d have our back and he didn’t lie. He also blessed us with perfect and unique photos, which I’ll never forget.

Exceptional tour guide - Overall a really good tour with a guide who has been to every city in Egypt and knows the history. Mohammad was exceptionally detailed oriented, friendly, helpful and alert. All of the entrances to all the included activities went smoothly because of him as well. The food on the tour was also very good. Pay attention to the time on the day of the mummy museum because you will want to get as much time in there that you can. Also we went to Siwa … very long trip so if you are spending more than a few days then definitely go for it. Don’t forget your towel for the salt lakes! Again, great tour where you see the most beautiful sites.

Exceptional Service - This was my bucket list trip for me and friends that I had been planning for over a year. JaKada Tours was great answering all my questions prior to arrival. Then when I arrived it was full service and made all of us feel like family picking us up at the airport at different times. Coordinating tours and agreeable to changes on the fly when we wanted to update the tours. They took us to some of the nicer shops so we would avoid the cheap tourist traps. All of the women with me felt comfortable and secure and we really like our guide Ahmed Fayed, he showed caring and was happy to join in out photos and tell us about his city.

Warning to African Americans traveling to Egypt - I initially wrote a review for Jakada Tours and gave a good review. I was asked to give a review on the first day of the tour. Never give a review on the first day because after you give the review the tour guides will take advantage the rest of the tour will be sub par guided, sub par information, and overall sub par experience. This is a warning specifically for African American's traveling to Egypt. Book your tours in the US with an accredited tour agency and not with the local agency directly. The owner asked me to buy him a $65 bottle of whiskey. Mohammed tried to cheat me out of $20 for a tour he said he would provide foe $70, but the day of the tour he told me that his grand mother was sick and rescheduled with another tour guide who was very new. When I we t on the tour, the guide took me to two of the sites and said that was the end of the tour. I said what about the third site, he said I only paid for the two sites. I told him that I paid for 3 sites and online it said they were $72. Mohammed quoted me at $70. So he calls Mohammed and he tells the guide it would be $20 more, and I said that is not what he quoted me. I wasn't paying anything extra because it was a scam. He finally agreed to the tour. If he didn't, I would not have paid anything for any of the tour. I paid for two nights in hurghada, but the owner booked my flight at the end of the day costing me an entire day Hughada, then the guide asked for $100 to book a tour that would include a couple of the things I wanted to do but within o e day. So I wasn't able to enjoy it as I wanted to, but the time I did spend was fun. They are not good with itineraries and I had to ask what I'm doing next, what time am I being picked up, who am I meeting with. Everyday was like that. It just wasn't well organized. Another guide taking me to aswan and the nubian village tried to get me to pay $300 for just a few spices. I was like these people really think we're dumb. I'm willing to spend because I know ow the poverty, but that was absurd. Again, the end of my tour in Aswan, the flight was 7 hours later and I had to stay at the airport the entire time rather than tour. Incredibly poor planning, but I feel it's because I'm African American. The guides tried discouraging me from going inside the temples and tombs and pyramids. One even went as far as standing outside the gate and giving me the information, and when I asked are we going in, he said , oh you want to in. What did I pay for? Just the audacity of these scammers. I'm positive that I didn't get the full tour given their shady behaviors towards me, so if you are African American, avoid Jakada Tours and book a legitimate tour where you have accountability and at least far less shady business. With that said, all praises to the most high, I was greatful for the opportunity to travel once again to an African country and explore and experience a different culture. Despite the antics of the tour operator and guides, I still had a wonderful time. I will not allow others to take away my sunshine and I made the most of what I was given by the most high. Only give reviews after you have completed the entire tour. If you tour 7 days, review after the 7th day to give an accurate review.
