An amazing experience - We had a visit with the guide Pon and his friend driver. One stop at sticky rice making village and tasting , visit at local market and finally the boat tour and one stop at a school to give some books to the children. Pon is a very nice guide with good English that will tell you all the things you want to know about Tonlé Sap and the surroundings. I will definitely recommend this activity.

Great varied trip - I had a great time on this trip, a nice change from the heat of walking round the temples the day before. Guide was friendly and really helpful. We stopped at a local market, rice coconut stall, floating village boat trip and then lunch. I recommend this trip. Would have been a couple but my husband felt rough and stayed in hotel, so glad I went ahead on my own :)

A friendly reminder to be thankful for everything you have! - Our tuk-tuk driver (Mr. Rasak, tuk tuk #4) brought us here for an afternoon ride through the village. This experience was a rather eye-opening one. The village sits on stilts because of the summer monsoons. The entire village relies on the land/water for their source of food. You will feel every emotion possible during your visit. Every penny spent goes towards the village. I can not wait to get back home and find out more information on how I can personally help. Thank you for this friendly reminder to be humble, grateful, & kind!

This is a fascinating experience... -
This is a fascinating experience. Just a short drive from Siem Reap, with a stop at a small village to walk through the daily market, then onto a flat-bottomed punt just the two of us plus our guide, the captain and his 10-year-old crew member for a fascinating journey along the river, past houses perched on poles ten or twelve metres above us. The water level in the river was low but that did not impede our progress, then we were out on the wide lake for a stop at a floating cafe and crocodile farm. On the way back we alighted at the river-side village for a walk along the main street, stopping to hand out books and pencils to the swarm of children that gathered around us - as it was a Sunday and there was no school books and pencils provided to us as part of the tour, then a stop at an enchanting roadside restaurant on the way back to town, with a choice of normal tables and chairs or large suspended swings where you could sit on cushions - and the food was excellent and included in the tour price. Our guide Billy Barang was a source of great knowledge about the river, the lake, the villages and the people, including the history of the region and the source and impacts of the great amounts of water that flow from the Himalayas to create the vast flood-plains that necessitate the building of the homes high above potential flood levels. Our driver Da was courteous, friendly and provided us with a smooth ride over the, at times bumpy, roads. This tour is extremely good value-for-money and we thoroughly recommend it/

The trip was fantastic! The guide... -
The trip was fantastic! The guide drove us to Kompong Lhleang Village which is an hour drive from Siem Reap central. Then we switched to a small boat which took us to the scene where we saw a lot of floating houses on the Tonle Sap Lake. The tour started at 8:30 AM and returned to Siem Reap around 2PM. The breeze over the lake was cozy and comfortable. Maybe the season was just fine, in January. Apart from Angkor Wat, it is highly recommendable tour.

After 2 weeks in Vietnam and... -
After 2 weeks in Vietnam and Cambodia, I thought I'd seen all Cambodia had to offer. I was wrong. I saw several new and interesting things on the tour. The young man who was our tour guide was fantastic. We almost told him that we didn't need to stop at the brick kiln because we'd been to another one in Vietnam, but this was a small family operation and it was fascinating to see the differences. The guide stopped to treat us to bamboo rice and it was one of our favorites of the trip if I lived there, I'd probably eat it every day.

Konpmn Khleang Floating Village - Overall, the experience was amazing. Our guide was super informational as well as continuously asked us questions to ensure we were enjoying our time. We stopped by the roadside on our way to Tonle Sap Lake for stick rice and it was amazing! Seeing the process in real person was super cool and the rice was delicious. The ride through the village before reaching the lake was eye opening and something people that are not familiar with that way of life should experience. The floating ride itself was also very enlightening. However, we went at the end of the dry season so all homes were completely out of the water and the stilts were very well displayed. I would think the rainy season tour would be a bit better. Overall though, a great experience and would recommend.

Mediocre - This was a pricey tour. Most of the time was spent travelling in the bus to each stop or on the lake where you weren't told anything by the guide. We stopped at a local village market to look at fresh meat, fruit and vegetables being sold. Then looked at how sticky rice is made in short bamboo pieces over coals. We stopped at a local school to hand out a story book and lead pencil to each student. We had read this in preparation of our tour, so had gone to a local supermarket and purchased (very cheaply) boxes of coloring-in pencils and blank notepads, and handed these to the teacher for use. Then we went on a boat on the lake. No life jackets or safety preca of any kind. It was good to see how the houses were on stilts and a small number of floating houses. Lunch was at a lovely village restaurant, which had beautiful tropical gardens and was clean and traditionally decorated. We picked from a menu and the food was good, but very few Cambodian local dishes. The meal is included in the cost of the tour, except if you want extras. We arrived back in town at about 3pm. Given the choice I would not choose this tour again.

Very overpriced for what you get - Don't use this company. Very overpriced for what they give you. We did the more expensive tour to Kompong Khleang. On the website it seems like we spend a lot of time at the floating village. The tour is supposed to start at 8h30 and finish at 3pm. They arrived 30 mins late and at 14h10 we were already back at the hotel. In the website they say you go with a guide from the floating villages, and that you will go into the local school and meet students and teacher. None of this happened. At last, we were supposed to have a full meal included, but they take us to a restaurant where the main courses cost 7,5 dollars and they only allow you to spend 8 dollars. Really disappointing experience for the high price we paid. It does not match what the website promised.
