Excellent Tour and Tour Guide! - This tour was absolutely fascinating! Through our outstanding tour guide, Hong, we learned so much about the many uses of the lotus flower and the lives of those who live in the floating villages. It was also a great way to escape the heat of Cambodia as the boat ride was a very pleasant temperature. Hong was exceptional! He has vast knowledge of everything we saw, but at the same time doesn't feel the need to fill every moment with chit-chat, which we appreciated. He was very friendly, helpful, professional and all around wonderful! The lunch was surprisingly good and again, Hong allowed us privacy to eat on our own. I really can't find any fault with this tour and I highly recommend taking it. You have to see how these people live in the floating villages for yourself to appreciate it. Make sure you go with Hong!

Had a good day out - Great day out on the lake to see how the locals live in the area. Our guide Friday was lovely. Hotel pick up was punctual in an air conditioned van. We visited a lotus farm, a crocodile farm, had a leisurely lunch aboard the Tara before taking a short boat ride around the fringes of the floating village as we were not permitted to enter it. We weren't too fussed about that though, overall it was a good experience to get a feel for what life is like out there.

First class! - Fabulous tour - the guide Tino was fantastic, excellent English, his local knowledge really made this a special trip. Very nice lunch on Tara Queen. Extremely highly recommended - especially if your guide is as good as Tino was. Also visited a local market and crocodile farm. Thank you

A memoriable experience - Great experiences with a well known guid, Friday, and a friendly driver who can speak Japanse, Nara. Luckily, I was the only participant at that day, so I could ask many questions about lives on the lake..etc. I liked to learn and see the new world. One of my favorite story from the guid is Lotus. This flower is very important in Cambodia and used for many ways, brilliant!

A great trip - This was a great trip, loved the lotus farm and on to a short ride in the mini bus to the lake. Mr Friday ( our guide) was very knowledgeable and friendly nothing to was a problem. The floating villages were very interesting, and we were transferred to the bigger boat for a good lunch and drinks. All in all a lovely day!

Great trip - gives real insight into local life - Thoroughly enjoyed this trip! Far more than we expected. Visiting a local farm and being shown the multiple uses for a Lotus plant, then a cruise up the river, a visit to a crocodile farm and then lunch on the Queen Tara. It gave us a great insight into life for locals and life on a floating village. Knowledgeable and friendly guide enhanced the small group tour. Highly recommend the trip.

Very Interesting but short - The lotus as well as the crocodile farm was very interesting to see. The guide, Sam, provided a lot of information about the people living in the floating village and the tonle sap lake. The lunch was tasty and a lot. Other than that, the tour could have been a little bit longer. It would have been nice to drive to some more parts of the village or at least to see more of the lake.

An authentic Cambodian experience - This was a really fun way to spend a morning. It really wasn’t what I expected, the lotus farm was beautiful and not what I had pictured. Then seeing the floating villages was amazing - they literally live on the lake and there is a floating school and church etc in addition to houses. The ride up river to the lake was very rural, and you get a real insight in to the day to day lives of these folks. Then lunch on the boat was so peaceful. Also got to mingle with some other tourists and share stories. Not to mention unlimited beer on the lunch boat!

As advertised but wouldn't do again. - Although this trip was exactly as advertised, I wouldn't do it again. The tour guide, bus and boat drivers were excellent. The reason I wouldn't do it again is that I felt exploited by locals by having to spend so much time in their shop and the boarding of the company's sister ship to buy lunch/drinks. Neither were of interest to either me or the other traveler yet we spent 25/15 minutes in each. Wish I would have spent the time visiting more temples instead.

Worth a visit - Not too far away from Siem Reap - we were picked up by minibus to transport to the lake. On the way we stopped for a little time at a Lotus Flower / Fish farm to stretch our legs and then onto the pier to pick up a boat to take us out of the estuary to the lake. The water was very muddy and low due to the time of year but we got a very good idea of what it would be like at high water. A further stop at a meeting point boat on the lake - saw a few sad fresh water crocs. Then onto a larger boat for refreshments and a light lunch. It gave us some insight into how the lake people live. You don't see the houses on stilts on this tour
