A day in the Mekong with Jackie Hieu. - We spent a full and fun day with Jackie Hieu. He is an expert guide who showed us the area and took care of assisting us even with requests unrelated to what was agreed upon. We visited the floating market and the local market, as well as a noodle factory. For us, both markets were incredible, highly recommended for the vision you gain of the area. Later we sailed along the Mekong and were in more touristy places where we purchased honey products before going to Coconut Island, also highly recommended. An unforgettable day.

ĐỨC - I was an interesting with the tour . Duc was an amazing guide and funny . He shared a lot of information about the history and the tunnel . I liked shooting the gun . High recommend the tour .

Great day out to the Mekong , markets etc - We did a tour with guide Minh Thuan , fabulous day out. On time hotel pickup , just 2 of us in the v comfy limousine van. Breaky at floating market amazing . Various boat trips on the Mekong etc, lots of beautiful food . Driver v safe , and guide v informative. Great day out !

Duc so nice - The tour was nice with a good tour guide . Duc was knowelgeable and funny . I liked the fruits and the life of the people . So peacefull in the mekong delta . I could see the local market and floating market so different . Hope to back to VN again with vietnam advanture tour

Amazing! Fun! Greatest cultural experience! - Our tour guide was bel and he was absolutely amazing! My partner and I felt like we were the centre of attention and were catered to the whole trip, bel has amazing English and a vast knowledge of history and culture, we felt like we explored the whole of the Mekong culture in one day and it was fantastic. If your looking to fit a whole culture experience of Vietnam with fun activities, sightseeing, exploring and knowledge then this tour is for you and bel is your guy!!

Excellent experience - The tour was amazing! Our Tour Guide Bao was phenomenal and explained so much great information about the story and the people of Vietnam. The activity were outstanding has well. 100% would recommend this tour!

Mekong Delta is must see, cannot say the same for floating market - We have been to floating market and Mekong Delta. Our tour guide Bao was really helpful, speaks English fluently. Mekong Delta was great, must see. However, there is little less to see in floating market. Apparently, after Covid the market got really smaller and you can hardly see a trade. If i knew it, i wouldn’t choose this itinerary and only go to Mekong Delta. Tour is over-priced, there is no water included although mentioned in the tour details. Final recommendation is to bring cash for the tips.

Our Experience - You wake up at 5am and they pick you up in a luxury van which is quite nice as you’ve got a lot of driving ahead of you. However the floating markets these days seem to be quite small after Covid as our tour guide had explained. I wouldn’t say it’s an “attraction” worth selling. We were told we’d be put on a canoe for 45 mins to go through the Mekong river, this ended up being approx 10-15min after our lady rowing us through turned on the engine and we sped through super quick. Of course to expect a tip after. We had not brought much cash with us on that day and everything they show you and experience, tips are expected after. You get to visit a local village in where a group perform a song and dance for you. Tips expected after. And then visit some quiet local shops around where they make different items such as candy & honey. It did feel as if we were trying to be convinced to buy something but we had not brought much cash with us that day as we hadn’t expected to need any considering the price we’d paid for the tour. Being a full day tour we ended up back at our accomodation around 2-3pm as the driver and tour guide did not want to deal with the traffic. It felt as if they had also expected a substantial tip for being out with us the whole day but we had run out of money by then. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this unless you’re super keen to experience the local lives of these people. There are probably better tours and experiences to do in Ho Chi Minh.
