The drive to the falls along the steep and winding Yoho Valley Road is equally picturesque.
After visiting Takakkaw Falls, you’ll head to Natural Bridge and the iconic Emerald Lake.
Following a lunch break in the quaint mountain town of Field, BC, the journey continues to the mighty Wapta Falls on the Kicking Horse River.
This 4.8 km hike is well worth the effort, leading you to the base of the falls. With a water flow of 9,000 cubic meters per second, these roaring falls are a must-see when visiting the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
Free direct pickup and drop-off are available in Banff and Lake Louise.
