Highlights

Board El Galleon I, El Bucanero II, or The Black Pearl, authentic replicas of 18th-century Spanish Galleons, and begin your Captain Hook dinner and show. These replicas, built in Spain, are 93 feet long and can accommodate 285 passengers. They feature state-of-the-art sound and video systems, as well as air-conditioned areas. Each ship has an indoor salon perfect for dining, a spacious outer deck, and an upstairs area ideal for enjoying the beautiful views of Cancun or lively outdoor dancing.

Your Captain Hook crew will welcome you aboard with a drink from the open bar as pirates provide personal service and the Captain entertains with tales of past pirate adventures. Choose from a dinner menu that includes lobster tail, Surf & Turf, New York steak, or chicken, accompanied by a salad bar, steamed vegetables, baked potato, rice, pasta, and dessert.

As you sail, another ship will slowly approach from behind, cloaked in darkness, and pull alongside your vessel. The Captain will sense the enemy’s presence and shout for his men to take battle positions. The show begins as cannons are fired and pirates, armed with swords and pistols, jump from the masts to the deck. A sword fight ensues between the crew and the invading pirates.

After enjoying a wonderful dinner and this thrilling pirate show, the ship will set sail back to port. On the return journey, relax and enjoy the night with great dancing music and games. Be part of this amazing pirate adventure aboard the Galleons of Captain Hook and have an unforgettable evening.

So fun! - This was so fun and engaging! The staff was excellent and the food was delicious! You are on the ocean so it will get cold fast but it was still a large portion and delicious! The show was so fun and interactive and while we did upgrade to vip for a bottle of wine, the entire ships seating was good. There are opportunities for souvenirs but not unusually overpriced. It was such a fun experience, we will definitely come back!

Do t do it - So excited to do this trip as we did it 7 years ago and it was amazing, it has changed so much since then, pushed for tips constantly by our waiter he asked us for tips 3 times, then we were asked for tips for the box to be shared and then again when we got off boat, we always tip and really dont mind but we were harrassed for tips from our waiter who was not the best at his job i think we got 3 drinks while on the boat and they were not the ones we asked for waste of money

Husband said it was the worst experience of his life - Very overrated, no room to move had to more or less stand or sit in one spot of tried to move was told to stay still. Was told at start of the show to leave tipping till end when for of the boat or semt box round. Some waiters were quite rude and kept coming up asking you for there tips and service was very poor. While waiting for your food was slapped on your plate your dinner along with your dessert. Even captain and at of show came and asked if you had put a top in the box which think was quite rude. A experience I wouldn't revisit

Robbing pirates, they definitely make you walk the plank - Over priced money maker, it’s a waste of money. First they try and squeeze as many as they can on board and over crowd the deck. When they do start the event if you only speak English you will not have a clue what’s happening. They forget to translate what’s happening in English and you’re sat there guessing. Every time we ordered drinks they can came back with something else so in the end we gave up. It cost us $270 for a family of 3, plus docking tax of $60 ($20 each) which TUI never tell you until you check the ticket they email you. Food wasn’t nice, rushed so everyone can eat. No where to eat, people had their food on their knee. They come round with the tip box and hold it under you nose until you put something in and as soon as the tip box as gone that’s when the staff start begging for tips. All it is, is a money maker as soon as you step foot on the ship, VIP upgrades, dock tax, $25 photos, swords for kids, tip box, begging staff. The fireworks show was a waste of time, 2 fireworks got set off( I’ve had better fireworks with a sparkler in my garden) if you’re not on the right side you don’t see anything. When the final show does start make sure your next to the toilet, there was on old man on the boat that needed the toilet and the staff said no he couldn’t go, so he went, there on the deck next to the ships exit. The only person that deserved a tip was the coach driver taking us Bach to the hotel. I will also letting TUI know they shouldn’t be selling this trip to holiday makers.

Poor management - The manager on shift was rude said I could not board because at the moment she spoke with me said I was intoxicated when I have a speech impairment Because of that denied entry to my entire family of 5. 2:adults 3 children with out no compassion of the fact that we had needed to reschedule already because of hurricane beryl I had asked for a refund since this was weather related and they refused. I let her know to show some time of compassion and understanding and she denied let her know I was there was there with my family that it is wasn't 1st time coming on the pirate ship I had already gone more than 5 times but because of her she said I still could not board the ship and refused service I had already paid for months in advance. In front of more than 20 people this is the 1st time I have felt humiliated every iny life on my birthday weekend having to tell my 6 year daughter I was sorry but the people in Capiton hook have no manners on how to deal with guest and pqid customers. Plenty of other activities to do in Cancun avoid the pirate ship. management has no compassion and no understanding they do not care about you and your family. they refused to give me a refunded on weather conditions on top pf that

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - DO NOT BOOK TRANSPORT! - The customer service is horrible. This was given to us a gift, and the purchaser of the tickets accidently booked the entire experience twice, so after MUCH back and forth, providing proof of double payments we were finally told one experience would be refunded (they did NOT make it easy). Once you arrive at the show (we paid for show, dinner and transport home), you are then told you need to pay a whole new tax for each member of your family "tax"...I think it was around $70 USD for our family of 2 adults and 3 & 5 year olds. The show itself was good, the service good, kids enjoyed it. Once we got off the boat around 8:30pm, we walked up the road to meet our transport...who wasn't there. We were told there was bad traffic and they were running late. We repeatedly over the next hour asked the attendant to call our driver to see how far he was and he refused, and kept telling us 15 minutes, 20 minutes...It was getting extremely uncomfortable waiting on the side of the road with our 2 small children who were tired and upset. Finally, at 9:45 (an hour and 15 minutes after our show ended) we were told our transport had arrived. We hoped in the van, buckled the kids in, and waited....the driver NEVER got in the car. After 10 minutes my husband hopped out and asked when we were leaving. He was told not for another 20 minutes because we had more families to take home AFTER THE SECOND SHOW! We immediately got out of the van, found a taxi and paid the $80USD back to our resort. Our transport back to our hotel was pre-paid, it is VERY clear they never intended to bring us back prior to the SECOND show ending (at 10:30 pm!!), were completely OK with our family in the DARK on the side of the road waiting. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS COMPANY! I have been going back and forth with them on whatsapp for 10 days requesting a refund for our transport which they refuse because "we chose to get our own taxi"! So disappointed in their customer service.

Overcrowded , boring - Really disappointed in this , out of all the trips we have done in cancun this has got to be the worst of the bunch . Firstly the boat is way OVERCROWDED, you are completely crammed and squashed in . It’s clear to see that all this attraction cares about is how much money they can make . Everything is money money money . They are constantly trying to sell you Photo’s , Swords , T shirts , all at greedy prices . You don’t get served drinks quickly , we watched the staff try and serve people in cramped conditions for 35 minutes before we were asked what drink we would like , it was that crammed that one member of staff knocked a whole drink all over one of the guests . Food is basic . You’ve no room to eat . Entertainment is not good at all , could not understand most of the language , hardly anything was in English , hours and hours of drinking games , karaoke etc , all drunk adults , one kids game . The pirate fight is probably the best bit but other than that it was an absolute waste of an evening . Save your money . I will be seeking a refund .
