Such a great and informative tour - If you get Jerry as your tour guide consider yourself lucky. He is so knowledgeable, funny and actually cares about you as a group. The lunch is so good get it and I recommend the al pastor burrito and guac so good. Buy souvenirs near the tea restaurant they are so reasonably priced. The cenote is so amazing take some water shoes your feet will thank you. Honestly we learned so much about the Mayan culture on this tour. You will be out in the heat so wear sunscreen, hat, and take an eco friendly water bottle. If u forget your bottle buy the canned water just before you enter the temple you will need it.

Description misleading. Tour was great!! - The tour itself was great. Our tour guide, Mary, was fun, knowledgeable, patient and very accommodating. It’s the description on the tour that was misleading. The actual timeline is double the one mentioned. It said six hours and so we schedule dinner reservations. Luckily for us, Mary worked wonders to get us back so we can have dinner. Be aware, the tour is 12-13 hours.

FULL DAY TOUR… Be Aware - The tour does what it says but the 6 hours does not start until you get to Tulum and ends when you leave the cenote. If you are taking this from Cancun, add 4 hours and plan on a 10 hour day. Also , Tulum in June is VERY Hot, so plan accordingly. There is no time for gift shopping to buy souvenirs, only 10 minutes for bathroom and water that you are in desperate need of at the end. The ruins are interesting but it is so hot that it can be difficult to truly appreciate them. The Cenote was okay, not that impressive and the food (American hamburger & fries) were okay, nothing exceptional like the tour guide would have you believe. Mary our guide was very informative but we had hoped for a shorter excursion and will be sure to read more reviews next time.

No - I would not recommend this trip it took 10 hours because we stopped 12 times to pick up other guests and the entire trip should’ve been 6 hours

Bring water and umbrella - The pick was on time and the overall tour was as describe. Here are a few issues that I had with the tour. 1.) The tour guide might have a deal with restaurant he takes you to because the food deal that he pitch does not taste good. In fact, it was the worst taco I had in MX. 2.) When we got to the temple site, the tour guide talked for about 45 minutes (on 1 ruin temple), and only left 30 minutes for self exploration. 3.) The tour guide does not offer any umbrellas and choose to stand the whole group under direct sun the whole time even though there is near back shade spots. There was no reason to make adults and children stand under the direct sun light. 4.) No water was offer on the tour.

Can pick up super late. Waited over 45 mins for shuttle. - Arrived at the pick up area early (oxxo) as instructed by tour operator Arturo of Cancun travel experience. Arturo did message me and said van shuttle was running a few mins late because of traffic. Waited another 45 mins. No shuttle. Other tour customers was also waiting over a hour because they arrived at 9am. I made my own way to the Mayan ruins eventually and called Arturo to tell him shuttle never came and I’m at Mayan ruins. He told me to reach out to tour guide Ruben. I called Ruben and messaged him. No answer no reply to my messages. I was still willing to do the tour even tho shuttle van never picked me up but I was abandoned. I decided to pay for parking and pay for entrance to the tour and did the whole tour myself. Terrible experience. I understand traffic delays happen but you have to communicate better with your customers on how long is the actual delay because standing in the hot sun waiting for a shuttle van is not fun, one of the customers fainted waiting for the very late shuttle because it was so humid. It’s only fair to give me a full refund for my terrible experience.
