Fun, hot, cold water swim - This is an extremely hot tour and a good hike in the summertime. Take an umbrella and note that you cannot take your own plastic bottles of water or any kind of drink. They must be in a container.. Also take a waterproof flashlight to swim through the cavern

Refreshing cultural experience - Excellent, Tomas, amazing guide. He gave us a lot of historical and cultural information about the region and the inhabitants. The places were spectacular and everything was on time (it takes a long time to pick up the hikers, but then everything was perfect). I would have liked more time in Tulum to go to the beach or to be taken to the beach. P.S. If you have thermoses or bottles to carry water within Tulum, take them with you because they do not allow disposable bottles or any type of garbage to enter. And a lot of sun protection in the pyramids is very hot.

Tulum & cenote - Tulum ruins were great and our guide Sandro gave lots of interesting information about the Mayan culture and history. Cooling off afterwards in a cenote was a welcome break from the heat!

Cool experience, long bus ride - Overall a great experience, cool to see, and awesome cenote. However, only book if you plan to be away ALL day. We stayed in the Hotel Zone. We were picked up at 715a (15 minutes late) and did not return until 530p. It was 3 hours on the bus both ways so only about 3 hours not on the bus. For whatever reason we had to stop and pick up people from 3 different hotels to bring them to a different bus not involved in our trip... so bot sure why we had to be delayed for someone elses trip. However overall Sandro (our guide) was very nice and knowledgeable and the sights were awesome. Just a long day on a bus.

The guide was good but the tour was exhausting - The guide, Sandro, and the driver, Martin, were great. The guide was very knowledgeable and gave us new information about Tulum. However, it was just scorching hot and involves a lot and I mean A LOT of walking. Just hydrate yourself, bring sun screen and wear comfortable footwear. I wouldn’t really recommend this tour if you’re coming from Cancun Hotel Zone because it is far and the tour only includes 2 places, the Tulum Archaeological Site and the Tortuga Cenote. If you really want to visit these places, it is better if you stay for a night or two in Tulum so that you can also visit other wonderful places in Tulum area.

Left stranded at cenote - After we booked and paid for the tour we were notified that we would have to find our own way back from the cenote. As we’d only booked the day before we could not cancel without losing all of our money. Most tours would drop you back at the pickup place, but not this one. We were also charged extra (though this was noted) which made this not the good deal that it first appeared. Staying in Tulum, it was have been more advantageous for us to take a collectivo to the ruins, pay for a guide and take a collectivo back to Tulum. The shops in the area are a rip off, charging us in US dollars rather than pesos.

They're ready to take your money with every angle. - What can you say? It's the same old scam the local tour operators have been doing for years. Right down to telling you that the area has dengue fever but if you buy their mosquito repellent (at a discount) it will save your life. Overpriced and boring. Tulum is a 30 minute chat about the history that is in all guide books, and the cenote is a short swim with a life vest on. You run the gauntlet of restaurants and dressed up mayan performers, plus the capuchin monkeys tied to their handlers that you have to pay to have your photo taken with. Then at the end the guide and driver feel they should get a tip for doing the job that you paid for already. It's the usual fake friendliness to make you part with more money. They prey on your gullibility. Maybe you'll enjoy it, I didn't. Save your money.

Terrible - First we were supposed to be picked up at 8am but the next morning at 7:05 we received a text what’s up app asking where we were . I responded that we were to meet at 8am then I received a text again on what’s up app say I texted you yesterday that it would be at 7am. I never saw that text or responded to it. Why would this person assume I saw it without confirmation! Then at the hotel why didn’t they go to the front desk and have them call our room . We were not the only ones who missed the trip. I hope you will issue a refund without me pressing the issue further .
