Great tour with Layla - An amazing tour that started at the Mayan Ruins. Layla, our tour guide had extensive knowledge of their history. The tour could not have ended more perfectly than with a refreshing swim in the Tortuga Cenote. Overall, great tour and day by Layla! Would recommend it to anyone visiting Tulum and looking for a fun activity or to learn more about the history.

Sun and Fun - Such a great experience with the addition of a wonderful driver and tour guide. The sun during the tour was a little brutal but the center made up for it. It wasn't crowded and it provided a great bonding experience with the other people on the tour.

Good tour - Tour was great! Good sites and enjoyed the cenote. Tour guide was very hard working and knew everything you could possibly ask. Only negative. Our bus was 30-40 mins late but I got the sense it wasn’t a common issue they had. But in the heat waiting for that long wasn’t ideal. But once we were going it was good

A pleasant day - The tour was a good one. Our tour guide Mary was great. She spoke great English and was very informative. The tour does not have pick up service from Tulum hotels so we had to take a taxi (20-39 mins, 45 usd one way) to the meeting point. We were the last party to join the group. The bus was 40 minutes late to the meet time. But Mary sent us a text to inform. Have cash with you to pay the park entrance fee (360 pesos). We were at the Mayan ruins right around noon. It was VERY HOT. Definitely have a big hat, or perhaps an umbrella because there is no shade. Consider carrying a proper water bottle because they don't allow plastic bottles in the area. There is a big store outside of the ruins where yoi can buy snacks, drinks and souvenirs. They don't accept credit cards unless you spend a certain amount. So again, consider carrying cash. The canote was a small private one. Our group was the only one there. So it was great. Have your swim suit, flip flops and towel. They rent life vests and snorkels if you want. The swim was wonderful. The food was not! They only serve a greasy hamburger. No other choice. If you're not into that, consider bringing your own food or wait until later to eat something. Tip is expected for the tour guide and the driver at the end of the tour, so again, carrying cash is a good idea.

Fun but duped. - The driver and tour guide were great. However, the stated $20 “port fee per person” was $25 and cash only once on bus. Not cool.

Could Use Some Improvement - For starters, the cost changed from $59 to $38 two days before our tour which I do not think was fair because we could not cancel and get the better rate. The bus was 35 minutes late picking us up, which made our time at the ruins very short. We spent more time walking back and forth to the ruins than at the ruins themselves and we felt very rushed. We were taken to one building and told about the equinox and that was it. Then we were on our own. We saw other guides explaining and giving facts about all the buildings. (Maybe you are better off hiring a guide at the site). The cenote was secluded and refreshing, but don't bother getting a snorkel because there are no real fish to see except guppies.

Great information - Great information on the tour. A couple things I didn’t care for… 300 pesos does not equal 25usd last I checked… I was charged this after paying original entry fee. Also, we passed a restaurant area that included a Subway and other places.. but instead were made to eat at a place near the cave with only one Menu option.. hamburger with fries. Although the Corona was ice cold, I’d don’t understand why we were asked to bypass all the other restaurants and instead eat at a “side of the road” location. Lastly, don’t ask, whether or not, for a tip. While I was prepared to (and did), it just was weird to be asked for it in advance.

Disappointed - We waited for an hour for our shuttle at the pre-designated pick up location. They never showed. They never sent an email saying they were running late and then tried to say we were no shows. I called three times to try to get a hold of them about 30 minutes in and got no response. It was very disappointing.
