Highlights
  • Kakum National Park - Upon arrival, our first stop will be a travelers pick-up location. We’ll then proceed to Kakum National Park. The highlight awaits as we explore the canopy walkway, suspended 30 meters (98 feet) above the forest floor, featuring seven suspended bridges.

  • Cape Coast Castle - Following the adventure at Kakum, our historical exploration continues with visits to both the Cape Coast Slave Castle and the Elmina Slave Castle. Each site holds profound significance, and our guides will provide insightful narratives to enhance your understanding of these historical landmarks.

  • Assin Manso Ancestral Slave River Park - The Slave River (Donkor Nsuo)
On the way to the coastal dungeon, the slave merchants stopped at Donkor Nsuo, known as “the slave river,” in Assin Manso. This location held significant importance in the journey of captured Africans.

Recuperation and Preparation
Captured Africans were allowed to recuperate at Donkor Nsuo after their long and arduous journey. During this period, they were well-fed and rested for several days or weeks. The merchants knew that by ensuring the captives appeared healthy and strong, they could guarantee higher prices at the markets.

Great service - Adjei is an exceptional individual whose passion for photography and videography truly shines through in his work. His stunning videos not only capture breathtaking visuals but also present his country and Africa in a beautifully positive light. I had the unique opportunity to join him on a tour to Assin Manso, and it was a profoundly moving experience. Adjei's emotional connection to the history and his insightful storytelling made the visit incredibly impactful. Learning about the final moments of enslaved Africans before they were shipped was both poignant and enlightening. Greetings from South Africa! Keep making positive changes and impacting our society, Adjei. Your dedication and talent are truly inspiring. Keep shining, brother!
