Highlights
  • Cape Town Central - Our tour begins with hotel pick-ups in Cape Town and surrounding areas at 08:30 AM (flexible). This day trip to the Cape of Good Hope/Cape Point, seals, and penguins starts with a brief city drive, showcasing monuments and buildings in the city center.
  • Sea Point - Sea Point offers scenic ocean and mountain views and is one of the most picturesque spots along the Atlantic Seaboard. It’s about 11 km long, ideal for walking, running, and cycling due to its flat and well-maintained paths. Known as the hub of the Jewish community, it was recently voted the coolest place on the African continent.
  • Clifton - Clifton is the wealthiest area in the country, often compared to Beverly Hills, and offers excellent leisure and recreational opportunities for fun-seekers and beach lovers. It includes Anchor Bay, Bantry Bay, Clifton Bay, and Camps Bay.
  • Maidens’ Cove - This beautiful scenic lookout point is situated between Clifton Beach and Glen Beach in the prestigious suburb of Camps Bay. It’s renowned for its stunning views of Table Mountain, Lion’s Head, the Twelve Apostles, and the Atlantic Ocean. Dolphins are often seen frolicking in the water, making it a perfect spot for memorable photos.
  • Hout Bay - Take a 45-minute ferry ride to Seal Island on an amazing ocean safari. Watch playful seals, a variety of birds, and beautiful landscapes. You might also spot majestic whales, joyful dolphins, and other marine life, including the Marine Big Five: dolphins, great white sharks, penguins, seals, and whales.
  • Chapman’s Peak Drive - This is one of the most rewarding panoramic drives in the country, if not the world. The drive hugs the near-vertical face of the mountain, linking Hout Bay to the Noordhoek suburb. It features 114 curves over nine kilometers and stands 593 meters above sea level. Tourists and locals often stop at viewpoints along the drive.
  • Noordhoek - Noordhoek is a beautiful suburb of Cape Town, located below Chapman’s Peak on the west coast of the Cape Peninsula, approximately 35 kilometers south of the Cape Town City Bowl. The name “Noordhoek” is Dutch for “north corner”.
  • Simon’s Town - Founded in 1679 by the second governor, Simon van der Stel, Simon’s Town is the second oldest town in South Africa and home to the South African Navy’s base. It was the British headquarters under the Commonwealth until 1944. You can view the Martello House, the oldest British construction in the country and the oldest of its kind in the world. It’s also home to African penguins. Lunch is at Harbor View Restaurant (exclusive).
  • Boulders Beach Penguin Colony - Boulders Beach is home to about 3,000 African penguins, an endangered species originally from South America, specifically Argentina. Walk on the beach and take close-up photos of these flightless birds. Your guide will provide information about the penguins’ current affairs. Before 1982, there were no penguins here.
  • Cape of Good Hope - This famed corner of Africa is where the cold southern Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. Explore the Cape of Good Hope and take an iconic photo with the sign that specifies the latitude, proving you’ve visited this landmark. Visit the Cape Point Lighthouse, built in 1859 on Da Gama Peak, which stands 238 meters above sea level. Explore monuments to Bartolomeu Dias (1488) and Vasco da Gama (1497). You might spot ostriches, Cape chacma baboons, Cape eland antelopes, mountain zebras, and other mammals.
  • Muizenberg Beach - Muizenberg, established in 1795, marks the British victory and occupation of the colony from the Dutch after a three-month war. It’s known as one of the best surfing beaches in the country, if not the world, due to its warm water, which attracts great white sharks.
  • Groote Schuur Hospital - This hospital is famous for the world’s first heart transplant in 1967 by Dr. Christiaan Barnard.
  • Castle of Good Hope - The Castle of Good Hope is the oldest building in the country, built between 1666 and 1679 by the first governor, Jan van Riebeeck.
  • Bo-Kaap - A popular daytime destination known for its narrow, cobbled streets lined with colorful houses, representing the local Cape Malay culture. Bo-Kaap has been home to the descendants of slaves from Malaysia, Indonesia, Madagascar, and Sri Lanka since the end of slavery in 1834. The multi-colored houses symbolize diversity and the rainbow nation. Ninety-nine percent of Bo-Kaap’s residents are Muslim, and you can visit the first mosque in the country, the Auwal Mosque, built in 1794.
