Highlights
  • Cape Town Central - On this private tour to the Boulders Penguin Colony and Cape of Good Hope, we begin with a 9:00 am (flexible) pick-up from your accommodation in Cape Town and the nearby locations. We start with a quick drive-by orientation tour of the city to visit the key structures and monuments.

  • Bo-kaap - After that, we’ll make a stop in the Bo-Kaap, or Cape Malay Quarter, for a picture op with its vibrant homes, which have significant historical value. If anyone from the neighborhood are visible, you might even get the opportunity to say hello to them. You will learn from your tour guide about the historical significance of the colorful homes.

  • Camps Bay - We travel past Three Anchor Bay, Bantry Bay, Clifton, and Camps Bay on our picturesque trip along the Atlantic Seaboard, which is flanked by mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. With its breathtaking views of the Twelve Apostles and Camps Bay beach, Maiden’s Cove is the ideal location for you to make memories and take amazing pictures. One of the greatest spots in Cape Town for panoramic pictures of the ocean, Camps Bay Beach, Table Mountain, Lion’s Head, and the lovely neighborhoods of Clifton, Camps Bay, etc. is this cove. This has become known as the Photographic moment.

  • Seal Island - If you choose to take the optional boat trip to Seal Island, the trip will last 45 minutes. Weather permitting, this is an expedition. Because the temperature tends to decrease when we are at sea, please bring a light jersey.

  • Hout Bay - As we make our way to Hout Bay along the scenic Atlantic coast, we will pass through Llandudno, which is well-known for having some of the priciest real estate in all of South Africa. When you get to Hout Bay Harbour, you can choose to browse at the market or take a 45-minute boat ride to Seal Island to see the seals.

  • Chapman’s Peak Drive - We drive around Chapman’s Peak as we leave Hout Bay, stopping at the overlook for amazing pictures. It should come as no surprise that one of the world’s finest adventures is Chapman’s Peak.

  • Noordhoek Farm Village - With Noordhoek as an optional stop, we continue our coastal trek while enjoying the stunning views of Long Beach and Noordhoek below. At the Village Roast, guests can savor some of the greatest coffee made in Cape Town at their own expense.

  • Cape of Good Hope - We take our famous picture with the Cape of Good Hope name board and visit the Cape of Good Hope. We will also examine the monuments honoring Dias and Vasco Da Gama here. Along the route, you will come across a variety of plants and animals as well as stunning beaches.

  • Old Cape Point Lighthouse - From the Cape of Good Hope to Cape Point. Once at Cape Point, we can choose to ride the Flying Dutchman Funicular to the Cape Point Lighthouse or go on a 15-minute trek. We are also going to explore the Cape Point, the most southwestern point of Africa, where the warm Agulhas current of the Indian Ocean meets the chilly Benguela current of the Atlantic Ocean.

  • Boulders Beach Penguin Colony - Our next destination is the Boulders Beach penguin colony, where your guide will take you to the viewing area so you can get up close and personal with a few of the 2500 breeding colonies of African penguins. On the boardwalk, you might even come across one or two of these fascinating animals strolling beside you.

  • Muizenberg Beach - We’ll pass Muizenberg on our way back, where the colorful beach cottages are located. The beach cottages serve as restrooms during changes. These remind me of the “bathing machine” of the 1800s, a sort of cart that allowed women to change into their bathing suits by being rolled down to the water’s edge.

  • Cape Town Central - Approximately 18:00 p.m., visitors will be dropped off at their Cape Town accommodation.
