Great tour and guide - It was a truly amazing tour through the city with many types of food. Gilbert gave us so many deep insights into historical or political topics that it was a real pleasure having him with us. He even spent more time with us than expected so that we definitely can recommend doing this tour.

Great tour with Gilbert - Terrific tour with Gilbert, an excellent guide. We learned so much about Cape Town (historically and presently) and ate some really interesting food in places that we would never have found on our own. He was generous in every way.

Culture and Foodie Tour - Amazing afternoon with Gilbert! He met us as planned, got to know our family and immediately started talking about the history. As we walked around the city, Gilbert was sure to point out unique buildings and landscapes, all while sharing us how things have emerged. If we were to walk around on our own, we would surly have missed so much of the culture and history! This was a welcomed experience for our entire family. Even our kids, ages 13 and 10, came away with a unique knowledge of CapeTown and South African history…as well as experiencing all the yummy local food!

Fantastic - Our experience with Christopher in Cape Town was fantastic. He was knowledgeable about the history and architecture of the area as well as the local food. He was personable and friendly. The food was delicious. I would recommend Christopher and this experience to anyone.

A memorable experience! - We travelled from Australia as a family of 5 adults and we also had an 18 month old with us. Gilbert was super knowledgeable about every aspect of our tour. From the food, history of the local area and general South African knowledge. This was one of the highlights of our trip. And the food was incredible!

Great Tour - The food tour with Gilbert was great. All tastings were exceptional and very tasty. he took us to places we would never have found on our own. The highlight at the end was definitely the banana cake with vanilla ice cream and chocolate. Gilbert has a lot to say about everything.

Very nice tour with Christopher - Christopher showed us the centre of Cape Town. Really nice tastings, lots of stories about the history of CT and modern life.
He is a very nice man, humorous and he was very open to all our questions.

Gold-mining town of Castlemaine - The weather isn't wonderful, however, it is close to Melbourne, lots of buildings from the gold mining days, and good bushwalking, and still OK sort of eating places. The Tourist Info bureau is in the Market Building in Mostyn Street, and extremely helpful elderly ladies there.
