Private Tour in Cape Town "Cape Peninsula Point and Penguins" - The highlight of most cruises in the Indian Ocean or Africa ends up in Cape Town, South Africa. If the cruise stays only for a day or 2, it is imperative that a tour in Cape Town must be from locals that are expert in this area. Like in Port Elizabeth, we were very fortunate to engage Into Tours. Janina from Into Tours booked us for a full day Private Tour «Cape Peninsula Point and Penguins». Despite the fact that our cruise ship Norwegian Dawn docked late for an hour and the chaos thereafter when everyone on board wanted to disembark at the same time, Janina made sure that our driver Christian was there for us. After a delay of almost 2 hours, we did the best day-tour ever in South Africa (Camps Bay, Chapman’s Peak Drive, Cape of Good Hope, Cape Point National Park, Boulders Beach with the African Penguins, Bo-kaap, etc. to name a few). Our driver/guide Christian was like a long lost brother to us. We had a magnificent day and had lunch at the Black Marlin Restaurant, however, the saddest part of the whole day-tour was saying goodbye and farewell after he drove us back to the Port Terminal.

Excellent Introduction to Cape Town & Cape Peninsula - We did a full day comprehensive tour with Jamie. He was an excellent guide very informative and knowledgeable with patience and good humour. He really went out of his was to make our time in Cape town and the surrounding areas feel special. We visited Table Mountain, Boulders Beach where we saw the African Penguins, spectacular Chapman's Peak Drive, Camps Bay, Cape Point. It was an excellent tour and as it was a private tour there was 4 of us, this was flexible and more personalised seeing exactly what we were interested in. I would have no hesitation in recommending Into Tours when you are holidaying in the Cape town or Port Elizabeth area. A special mention also to Nina, whom I dealt with, in organising our tours, she was brilliant, very professional friendly and punctual with queries.

Best Cape Town Tour ever - We had a wonderful day in Cape Town! Have been picked up by the very friendly guide at the cruise terminal and have then seen in a small group very much of Cape Town and the surrounding area! We have been to the penguins, Table Mountain, the Cape of Good Hope and in Bo Kaap! In between there were several stops at stunning beaches and souvenir shopping! Our guide had an incredible knowledge of the region, the animals and the history! We learned a lot! The tour was the highlight among the excursions!

Great Tour Ruined - Into Tours provided a Cape Town Peninsula tour using a guide from Zimbabwe. The guide was deeply knowledgeable about African culture in particular Zimbabwe. However, less of a problem for me, and more so for my wife, as he was unfamiliar with the vehicle he was driving. He needed the service station attendant to open the fuel tank. Also, the car caused headaches for Rita as it was heavily perfumed. The fuel and any snacks that were to be provided needed to be obtained prior to the tour. Since this tour was to be flexible per our interest, I emphasized our desire to see Cape Point and I noticed a resistance to this suggestion only to later find out why. Our guide was not registered as a guide and had problems with the park rangers. We did get in after he paid his entrance fee, the only fee he paid., I ended up paying for his meal, funicular, and Seal Island activities. After the incident at the entrance, Rita lost all trust in our guide. The trip was ruined, and we missed the wine tasting. Into tours offered a 25% reduction in price, which I accepted even though it was about a $150 tour versus the $319 charge.
