  • Cassis Monna & Filles - Our story began in 1872 when Louis Monna founded the eponymous maison Louis Monna, which specialized in the distillery of fine wines and spirits in l’Hérault, France. In 1925, his daughter Louise took over the family business with her husband, and rebranded it Pin-Monna Successeur. Meanwhile, her brother Émile founded the Source Monnaguette, offering alcohols and lemonades. Proud of this heritage, his son, also Émile Monna, sails for Quebec where he teaches his children all that he knows - among them Bernard, founder of Cassis Monna & Filles.

Today, it is the 5th generation of the Monna family - sisters Catherine and Anne - who stand at the helm of their family business.

Phenomenal - We had a phenomenal day on the E-bike tour with Antonio! He gave us facts about Canada, Quebec, and most importantly Ile d’ Orleans. He watched out for each member of our group making sure we were safe and enjoying ourselves. What a delight! I recommend this tour to anyone considering.

Ebike the Ile - Great guide (Antonio⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) took us to the highlights of the southeast end of the island. He brought us all of our tastings and was friends with all the proprietors. Extremely careful getting us across the road. Every sample was worth the trip by themselves. We would do it again!

Fun, well-paced, delightfully different. - Delightful! The bikes made visiting the island SO enjoyable! The wind in our hair, the views passing by at reasonable speeds... our tour guide was the owner. He was charming, knowledgable, and told great stories! The strawberries were AMAZING. My partner enjoyed the wine. The vineyard... great wine coupled with a gorgeous view of the vines AND a waterfall in the distance. Just breathtaking.

Good intro to the island - Enjoyed the easy bike ride, and our guide was engaged and enthusiastic. Felt like we skimmed the surface of the Ile, which was fine for us trying to fit a lot in with minimal time in QC area. It felt like a unique place.

Lovely way to spend a morning! - Our French guide was amazing. We enjoyed the variety of stops. We did not like the wine that we tasted, but the scenery was beautiful. We would have loved cheese tasting but understand that it is far away.

Great Island Activity! - I scheduled this activity for my family in hopes we could get to see some beautiful fall colors, be out in nature, and experience the sights of the island; however, to my delight we got so much more!!! Antonio did such a fabulous job giving us all the highlights of the island which included some history and culture which I was not expecting. Our favorite stops were the beautiful winery and getting to see how locals make maple syrup. Antonio also gave us a suggestion of trying the lobster roll at Chez Mag afterward and it ended up being one of our best meals while visiting QC. Worth every penny! 🍁🇨🇦🍁

Beautiful guided tour of L'île D'Orleans! - Last month a few friends and I went on a guided e-bike tour of L'île D'Orleans. Being from Australia, it was exciting for me to experience the beginning of the slow change to Autumn on the island, with the changing leaves and the shift in weather. Such a magical time of year for Quebec, so much so that we met other guests from other sides of the planet coming just to see it! We definitely don't see such beautiful seasonal shifts in Melbourne thats for sure! Our tour guide, Antonio, was fantastic. He was very enthusiastic and had so much information to share with all of us about the island and Quebec. We had a great selection of stops along the ride around the tip of the island, including a Chocolatrie, a vineyard, a cafe, and Le Foyer de Charite. They were all very interesting and each offered something unique - the vineyard had to be my favourite!! I would highly recommend booking a tour here. It was very much a highlight of our trip to the Island, and we all left feeling very grateful and refreshed!

Fun and Unique Experience just outside of Quebec City! Not to be Missed! - We had such an amazing experience with Anthony! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the island, the history, the products, and the producers! We had such a fun time riding our bikes along the island and visiting unique locations! It feels like this area is not well explored by tourists and should be! You also get great views of Montmorency Falls and Quebec City. Definitely a highlight of our trip!
