Fantastic Experience - Perfect afternoon trail ride with the family. Summer was our guide and she made us all feel welcome and gave us an insight to the history of the area. Very enjoyable and would definitely return.

Loved it! - Me and my husband did a beginner friendly horse riding tour with Kat, and we enjoyed it so much! Horses are super sweet and calm, Kat explained everything very thoroughly, some of the details we didn’t know before even though it’s not our fist time horseback riding. She also told us a lot about the area and took nice photos! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience! Made our day!

The horses have such personalities! They are wonderful and very experienced horses! - The experience was amazing! The horses have such personalities and are so beautiful. The instructors were amazing and kept everything very simple! There was also a ranch cat and ranch rottweiler ❤️ they are so gorgeous! The view is also so incredible and you don't have to be experienced in riding to do this and feel comfortable. Highly recommend 🙌

Beautiful winter morning trail ride in Cardrona - We did a two hour trail ride with Blandine with our two kids under 12 - both kids have some horse-riding experience. Kelly was there to help us set up and both Kelly and Blandine were super friendly and helpful. They selected horses appropriate for each rider's ability and comfort level. The ride was beautiful - through some small creeks and the gorgeous hillside around Cardrona. We all had a great time but this was a major highlight for our children who had been begging for a trail ride given all the awesome outdoor activities we enjoyed throughout our stay in New Zealand. Thank you Kelly and Blandine!

Not to skip this experience - The host and guide were very nice. The trip couldn’t been great without the unique experience we’d enjoyed.

Great for First Timers - I've never ridden a horse before and I had no issue on the ride. Nor did the ~5 year old in our group 😄. That said, this is a great trip as long as you understand that this is a walk only ride. We knew this going in, so we had a great time. I rode Danny and he was my dude. Very chill and easy to ride. I hardly had to do anything. Emily was our guide and was very helpful to give me the basics of horseback riding in a very short amount of time so that we could get going on the trail. She also took some great pictures of us. If you're an experienced rider, the Discovery Trail probably isn't the one for you (there are others you can do). If you're a first timer or looking for a leisurely walk among the scenery, this is the one for you. Either way, Cardrona horses trekking is the place to go!

Wonderful time with great views! - Great experience. Our guide Kelly was so helpful and amazing, great tour, beautiful views and ride. Nice way to see some of the country side and upper hills.

Epic views, stunning horse - What a fantastic experience. Kel was so experienced and instructive with the kids and made us all feel really safe when we were new to riding. By the end of our stunning two hr trip we were all happily trotting along having had a fantastic experience. Would really recommend for anyone but for us with small children it was perfect.

Great but pricy - Very nice experience! The horses are sweet and well behaved and riffing through nzl nature is amazing, however quite pricey for what you get.
