A great way to see more than shops & restaurants - We’ve been to Carmel many times so decided it was time to learn the history and we had a lovely afternoon with our guide Monica. Her stories and back alley walks were so interesting! Highly recommend this tour. She also is the author of the Carmel history book so you can trust she knows what she’s talking about.

Best Tour Ever - Our group thoroughly enjoyed Monica and all the stories and history of Carmel and the area. We’ve been many times to Carmel but discovered so many new places and learned so much. Monica made it come alive and was able to tailor the tour to our interests. We were extra fortunate that our group was the only tourists on this tour that day, but I’m sure she could manage a larger group with the same great outcome. We enjoyed walking all through town! We have already recommended this tour to friends who are planning to visit the area in the near future and know they will enjoy it and Monica immensely.

EXCELLENT guided tour, best 2 hours spent in Carmel. - We did this guided tour with Gael, during my son's spring break and It was the best thing out of our itinerary. Gael allowed us to experience the charm and uniqueness of Carmel in a very special way. I never knew such a small place was so big in arts, culture, charm. She would go in thru buildings and or streets and surprised us with beautiful quant spots to seat at to have coffee, read a book or simply just relax. Gael I cannot thank you enough for making this experience so unique, we are planning to go back with the rest of the family soon.

An Engaging, Informative, Delightful Way to Experience Carmel - Whether you’ve been to Carmel many times, or if this is your first visit, you will find this tour to be equally informative and memorable. We were a group of local Seniors and out of town guests who all totally loved our experience. The tour is a mix of historical fact, unique tidbits of information, and personal story telling. Monica is a very well-researched, experienced and engaging guide. She adjusts her pace to the ability of the group, allowing for questions, photos, places to sit and listen and conversational ease. Her tour was a delightful way to see Carmel and reach your steps at the same time!! Book early as this tour is quite popular.

A fun and informative tour - This tour was an enjoyable experience that I would recommend to anyone! Most of all, our tour guide Monica was an absolute pleasure. We called in advance and spoke with Monica regarding my elderly parents ability to keep up and she reassured us that they would be fine. We are so happy she did as they had a wonderful time and were able to take breaks as necessary. Highly recommend!

Great way to learn more about Carmel by the Sea - What a great experience. Monica was amazing, as she gave us a history of Carmel, and walked us through special alleys and areas of shops and restaurants we would have never found on our own. She really made us love Carmel even more. Highly recommend.
