Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas - Castillo San Felipe de Barajas is a fortification located in the city of Cartagena de Indias in Colombia. It is situated on a hill known as San Lazarus. Constructed in 1657 during the Spanish colonial period, it endured frequent attacks from the English and French, with French commander Baron de Pointis capturing the castle in mid-1697.
La Popa Convent - Approaching Cartagena by land, sea, or air, the first noticeable feature is a mountain range or small hill, with its highest point reaching 148 meters above sea level, known as La Popa de La Galera. The large crowds that gather for the solemn procession on February 2, from the sanctuary of La Popa to the city center, are unparalleled in any other popular event.
